Liverpool’s November Employee of the Month

Posted on

Another month of excellent nominations, identifying the hard work the supply staff of New Directions are carrying out. Many thanks to all the schools that have participated throughout the year with employee of the month, all nominations are greatly appreciated and help acknowledge and reward some of the great staff we have.

Last month’s winner Toni Moore chose to spend her vouchers at River Island, Toni was very shocked about winning employee of the month but thrilled at the same time.

November 2012 Winner: Phil Logan – Wallasey School

I would like to recommend Phil Logan. Phil is very well known to our school and Science department as he has been with us a few times : Feb to Jul ’12 and Sep to Dec ’12 covering  two maternity leaves. He is punctual, enthusiastic and always checks in with me to see if anything additional is required of him. He attends meetings and parents evenings when asked to and he has a very good relationship with both staff and students. Phil has taken a great deal of interest in his students progress and the exam results he helped them achieve are a credit to him. He has quite literally been a God send and he is a credit to your agency and I know he is very highly regarded by our Head of Science. He would be more than a worthy winner in my opinion.  No doubt he will be back with us before too long.

Account Manager Kevin Mercer is absolutely delighted that Phil has won Employee of the Month for November 2012 as he had been pipped to the post on a few previous occasions.

I have known and worked with Phil for over 6 years now and no one deserves this more than him. Every school I have ever sent him to work at have all said the nicest things about him and always asked for him to stay a little longer or asked for him to return. Phil retired from Weatherhead High School about 6 or 7 years ago to spend more time with his family and the funny thing is that he has had no more than 10 days off during this time as he has been kept so busy no doubt because he stands head and shoulders above other supply staff.

We won’t be carrying out the competition during December due to the holidays. The competition will take place again towards the end of January where we look forward to receiving further nominations.
