Health & Social Care Assessor – Welsh Speaking

Salary: £25,500 – £28,000 (DOE)

Location: Cardiff/ Hybrid

Contract type: Permanent

Working hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 to 16:30

We are working with one of the most vocationally diverse employee-owned independent training providers and are looking to recruit a NVQ Assessor in Health and Social Care who is fluent in Welsh. The right candidate will need to have experience in assessing and have an assessor qualification with a background in Health and social Care.

After a successful training period, this role gives you the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.


  • Delivering apprenticeship qualifications to employed status learners (Level 2, 3 and Level 5)
  • Providing a quality learning experience and journey
  • Supporting learners to successfully achieve their qualifications in a timely fashion.
  • Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of agreed performance targets.
  • Occupational competence and delivering apprenticeships experience.


  • Experience of working within Work Based Learning and to Award Body standards.
  • Ability to speak Welsh is Essential.
  • Assessor qualification or equivalent and assessing experience.
  • Occupational experience within the Health & Social Care sector and apprenticeship delivery
  • Full driving license and use of own vehicle
