An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced or part qualified Conveyancing Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our client, a well-established firm of Solicitors based in Newport. They are looking for a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support their Conveyancing Department.

Job Description:

  • Supporting the Conveyancing department with all legal processes
  • Checking title documents and contract packs received from clients
  • Inputting all relevant information on to the Case Management System
  • Liaising with estate agents and clients via telephone and email
  • Updating clients over the phone on progress on cases
  • Sending out all relevant documents from the Case Management System to their clients
  • Thoroughly explaining the legal process to all clients

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven legal experience in Conveyancing
  • Well-spoken with an excellent telephone manner
  • Highly motivated and ambitious
  • Well organised and a good team player
  • The ability to provide excellent service standards for clients
  • Ideally experienced using a Case Management System
  • Strong administration and document production skills

This role would suit people who also have the following experience: Legal Secretary, Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Legal Executive
