Job Description

Sales Administrator

Upwood, Ramsey

Salary – £22,713 (40 hours per week)

Main Purpose:

To provide administrative support to the Sales Department.  To be one of the main points of contact for Account Managers, customers and prospective customers dealing with all their communications.

Key Measurables:

  • Accuracy and speed of processing of orders, sales quotes and data entry.
  • Efficiency and effectiveness of resolution of sales-related enquiries, complaints and queries.

Responsibilities /Accountabilities:

  • To liaise directly with customers and prospective customers on a daily basis, whether by telephone or in writing, in order to deal with orders, and queries in a prompt and effective manner. 
  • To liaise closely with other teams within the business, in particular, the production, purchasing and logistics functions, to ensure that our high service levels are maintained for our customers.
  • To support the office by being available to undertake other administrative and clerical duties as required.
  • To ensure that you behave in accordance with our Company Values.
  • To adhere to our Health and Safety Procedures and Policies at all times.

Required skills & experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Confident and polite telephone manner                            
  • Ability to prioritise conflicting workloads              
  • Experience using Microsoft Office                                      
  • Competent literacy and numeracy skills
