Ysgol Blaenau bring Bag2Schools

Children, staff, parents of Ysgol Blaenau have over the past few weeks been collecting clothes for recycling in conjunction with Bag2Schools recycling scheme. This has been a fantastic opportunity to recycle items which we no longer need, and raise money towards our Eco-School Recycling projects at the school. As you can see many bags were collected in the build-up to collection date before the end of term. We will be arranging our next collection during the new academic year in September.

Bu plant, staff a rhieni Ysgol Blaenau yn casglu hen ddillad gartref dros yr wythnosau diwethaf er mwyn eu hailgylchu gyda menter ein hysgol gyda Bag2Schools. Mae wedi bod yn gyfle wych i ailgylchu hen ddillad nad ydym yn defnyddio rhagor, a chodi arian tuag at prosiectau ailgylchu Eco-Ysgol Blaenau. Byddem yn trefnu casgliad arall o ddillad ym mis Medi.

To coincide with our Healthy Schools project, every child in the school has received a free water bottle and a new water machine has been installed at the school. We are encouraging children to drink more water and be aware of a more healthier lifestyle.

I gyd-fynd gyda datblygu Ysgolo Blaenau i fod yn Ysgol Iach, mae pob un plentyn wedi derbyn potel ddwr rhad ac am ddim a mae peiriant ddwr newydd yn yr ysgol. Rydym yn annog y plant i yfed fwy o ddwr ac i gadw’n iach.
