Bristol Schools Reborn!

Posted on

In Bristol, the government’s new freedoms in the structure of education are seeing full expression.  Two secondary schools were re-born as academies, attached to Cabot Learning Federation:  Kingsfield became King’s Oak Academy, and Wyvern Community School in Weston-super-Mare became Hans Price Academy.

These academies continue to operate as separate institutions, but are part of the Cabot ‘brand’.  At the same time, Bristol Free School has opened with just a Year 7, and St Ursula’s E-ACT Academy opened as the first primary academy in the area.
