New Directions Education Ltd has been re-accredited with the Quality Mark for Supply Teachers. The business passed with a 100% for the second time since joining the English market.

The Quality Mark was launched in 2002 as a joint initiative between the Department for Education (DfE) and the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) to help drive up standards for everyone within the sector.

Jeff Tune, Chairman for the New Directions group of companies’ comments: ‘To have achieved 100% the first time we applied for the accreditation was a real win for New Directions, to achieve 100% a second time demonstrates our commitment to the industry. As an organisation we strive to set a precedent, and the culture of our business reflects the very real needs of our clients and candidates’.

The quality mark sets out to maintain standards within education recruitment. It provides assurance and recognition that quality procedures are being adhered to.

New Directions Education Ltd has a head office in central Cardiff with seven further offices across the UK. The business was recently given the All Wales Award for teaching supply throughout the whole of Wales. The business is now the official preferred supplier for the education sector in the country.
