New Directions held their annual coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer research. As last years theme of ‘Dressing up or Down’ was hugely successful the theme was carried on this year.
Staff at offices around the UK chose to mark the day in different ways with some staff members baking cakes to deliver to schools and others brought cakes into work to sell to their workmates.
At 11.00 am staff settled down with a cup of coffee and a cake to raise money for the Cancer Charity.
Ruth Dalton Group Communications Manager at New Directions organised the coffee morning for the company commented ‘ At New Directions we are always looking at original ways to support charities, we believe as a company we have a vital role in supporting our communities. Last year we organised a dress up theme with staff members going back in time to the forties while enjoying their cake and coffee, this year we have had a mixture of themes across the company including schoolgirls and superheroes.
