This month we received an exceptional amount of fantastic nominations from schools in Merseyside, Cheshire and Lancashire highlighting the hard work of the supply staff of New Directions Education. At New Directions we pride ourselves on supplying quality teachers and support staff into schools so this feedback is incredibly valuable, we would like to thank all the schools that contributed this month. There was a high number of exceptional nominees this month, however, there was one nominee who stood out for going above and beyond to help the students and teachers at every opportunity.
This months winner is John Buckley who was nominated by Julie Foster at the Heath Specialist Technology College. Julie remarked “ John recently started at the Heath and has proved to be an invaluable asset. He has embraced all the SFL in Graphics and Resistant Materials and the role of Form Tutor, he is a pleasure to work with. He often stays behind and gives up his free lessons to enable pupils to complete their work to their target level. John teaches KS3 and KS4 Graphics and Resistant Materials and continues to inspire the pupils and assist me at every opportunity. John is a delight to work with, he gives his best and expects the best from staff and pupils alike. He has been and continues to be a huge asset to Heath Specialist Technology College. He has quickly become part of the team.”
Michael Childs, Account Manager at New Directions Education presented John with his award and certificate at the Heath added “John has worked for New Directions Education for just over a year now. When a new client requested a specialist John was our first choice, based on the fact that we have always received excellent feedback from schools and he is an absolute pleasure to deal with. John has been working at The Heath Specialist Technology College since the middle of September, they nominated John without hesitation. He is professional and hard working and always represents New Directions Education in an extremely positive light. I am delighted that John has won Employee of the Month for October, he deserves it. Well done John!!”
