A leading education recruitment and training agency has opened its doors in the Wirral. The business currently operates across ten sites throughout England and Wales, and now has its latest venture in Ellesmere Port.

The business will service schools and candidates across the Wirral and Cheshire with recruitment and training solutions for the region.

Speaking about the office, Sean Peloe who is heading up the team said ‘We are delighted to have extended to a base in Ellesmere Port. We already have two offices in the North West, and close neighbours in Wrexham. We felt the time was right to invest in the Wirral. The offices are in an ideal location for us to offer a full, comprehensive service to schools and colleges in the area’.

The office was officially opened by Ellesmere Port mayor Brian Jones (pictured) who cut the ceremonial ribbon. Speaking about the day, Louise Clark, regional manager for the New Directions team said ‘we are proud to be investing in Ellesmere Port as a location for our business. We found the office and quickly fell in love, as a business with the location. Today is about our commitment to the region, in saying we want to support the economic growth of this area’.

New Directions Education was formed in 1999 with a head office based in Welsh capital Cardiff. The operation has now grown to include sites in Birmingham, Bristol, Ebbw Vale, Hereford, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Swansea and Wrexham. The business is a preferred or contracted supplier to over 20 local authorities and boroughs across England and Wales for the provision of education personnel.

When asked why Ellesmere Port and why New Directions Education, Sean Peloe added ‘quite simply, we feel we are the most community focused agency within the education sector. We align ourselves with the education community and try to support the growth and development of the sector as a whole. This venture is another way of our team saying – we are on your side, we want to help sustain a positive education experience for the students of now and in the future’.
