Headteacher Wins New Kit for Conwy School

A primary school in Abergele has become the lucky recipient of a new school sports kit.

Ysgol LLanddulas were competition winners at a recent Headteachers Conference held by the Conwy and Denbighshire authorities. Paul Davies, Head of Conwy primary school entered the school into a prize draw with recruitment and training provider New Directions Education ,whilst visiting the event.

Mr Davies, who was delighted at hearing the news told the team at New Directions about how much the new kit meant to their netball team ‘this kit is long overdue’ explained the head ‘approximately 10 to 15 years in fact. Our team made the finals of a regional tournament in April this year in Bangor, this kit serves as reward and acknowledgement of their hard work’.

Sarah Baker, Account Manager and Neil Roberts, Business Development Officer from New Directions Education presented the new kit to the school on Wednesday 3rd May. The team were delighted to receive the new sportswear and posed for a team shot (pictured).

Monica Zeraschci, Netball Coach for the team also received a coach t-shirt with the school logo embossed upon it. Monica, who has taught netball in schools across Wales was also delighted with the new kit. Sarah from New Directions congratulated Monica on the team’s recent successes and added that she ‘hoped the new kit would bring them continued luck’.
