St. Peters RC Primary School represent South Wales in National Football Competition

Posted on

Earlier in the year we reported that St. Peters had won the New Directions Football Competition Foundation Kids Cup winners for 2017, sponsored by Cardiff City FC.

This gave St. Peters the opportunity to play at Brentford in the next stage of the competition. On Thursday 9th March, New Directions Business Development Office, Peter Cornelious, Cardiff Primary Account Manager, Chloe Evans and Dean Pymble from Cardiff City FC presented the football team from St. Peters certificates for their fantastic achievement.

Deputy Headteacher, Mrs. McLister comments, “St. Peters relished the opportunity to participate in this national tournament which gave the children a lot of experience, opportunity and camaraderie. It’s a fantastic opportunity for the children and it inspires the others seeing them win.”

We look forward to seeing whether St. Peters can hold onto the New Directions Kids Cup next year!
