In honour of World Book Day, which was celebrated on Thursday 2nd March, our Wrexham office held a competition amongst their schools to find the best dressed child.

Our team of judges, made up of a number of staff from New Directions agreed that the prize should go to Dante, a reception pupil from Ysgol Carrog who had dressed as a The Stick Man. Dante received a small prize as well as winning £100 worth of books for the school.

Jayne Davies, Head Teacher of Ysgol Carrog commented, “World Book Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the world of imagination and words and this prize will enable us to purchase some exciting new books which the pupils will enjoy using.

Rebecca Macintyre, Senior Recruitment Consultant for New Directions Education comments, “I am delighted that Dante won the best dressed child which was judged by the staff at New Directions. He was a worthy winner and made an excellent stick man.”

New Directions celebrate World Book Day every year to engage with the schools and their communities.
