I couldn’t hope for anybody better to work with than Chloe. She always keeps me up to date with what’s happening and why it’s happening. I never have to worry about any part of working for New Directions and we regularly catch up with each other on what is happening. Chloe makes working with New Directions a pleasure.

I love it when I’m not expecting to get work – either because of the time of the year or because of weather conditions – but you get me bookings anyway. Those are definitely highlights.

I would recommend New Directions.

Keep doing what you’re doing in the way that you’re doing it. At the moment it feels like New Directions has hit the sweet spot where efficiency and community are working in perfect harmony.

John, Primary Teacher

Chloe has been an excellent account manager. She is very professional, friendly, helpful and approachable. She has been very understanding and accommodating about my variable availability and circumstances over the year.

Chloe maintains regular contact and I have found her to be very reliable.

The increasing range and availability of CPD courses is a new highlight. I haven’t been able to take advantage of them this year but it is good to see that side of supply being given more attention.

Deborah, Primary Teacher

Chloe has always been quick to reply to any query, flexible with my ever changing weekly timetable and understanding when my home life dictates when I am available.

I love working at the school where I’ve been for four years. Prior to that I liked the fact that I was never pressured if I was unable to work.

I would recommend New Directions.

Jayne, Primary Teacher

Chloe is always happy to help, and has gotten me work always and long term contracts as I wished. Chloe is really friendly, reliable and easily contactable.

My highlight has been how easy it is to get through to Chloe and how helpful she is. I have always had work. All the staff on the teaching line that I have spoken to have always been friendly and very helpful.

Chloe would 100% get a 10/10 from me!

Bryony, Primary Teacher

Chloe is very easy to work with. Always professional and courteous, always happy to answer any questions I might have.  I asked for some long term placements in schools and was given that opportunity.

I would recommend New Directions to anyone.

Dieter, Primary Teacher

I have been working with New Directions for over five years and I only have great things to say about Becky. I have found she goes above and beyond for every individual she helps and works with. The highlight of working with New Directions is that they have found me some of the best places to teach. I can only speak so highly and praise all staff in the Cardiff office, they always do their very best for all the candidates requirements.

Ralph Testimonial, Further Education

The very first point of contact was assuring and friendly. This has continued throughout my time with New Directions. The relationship is friendly, helpful, professional and transparent. I was able to have an open conversation with each member of ND I spoke with. If there was a school I enjoyed I was able to convey this easily. The same was true of an experience was less than satisfactory.

I initially worried I wouldn’t have enough work but the phone didn’t stop ringing! It was fantastic.

The staff and bookings have helped me regain my confidence in teaching. Being able to pick and choose the school I worked with enabled me to develop a trust back into the structure and workings of teaching, teachers and the school environment.

Without New Directions I would have left 18 years of teaching with negative memories toward the end. The staff helped me gain my confidence. I will always appreciative of that. It wasn’t just about the money or schools. It was more emotive.

Jo, Primary Teacher, Cardiff

Since finishing my PGCE in June I have worked for New Directions on supply. Prior to this they kept in touch, checking how my course was going and ensuring that I was able to start work the day after my course finished. I can’t praise them enough – the way they allocate you work is spot on, they are always there for you when you need them and they keep their promises.

The account managers are amazing, they are so friendly and really care about what you say. They are never too busy for a chat and are always there when you need them. Working for New Directions has been a really pleasurable experience.

Chloe and Gemma have both been amazing in keeping me up to date, finding me work and just being there if anything was wrong or I needed a chat!

Rob, Primary Teacher, Cardiff

I have worked with New Directions for the last few years. My account manager Nadine communicates frequently through text messages and phone calls. I am confident that I can contact Nadine if needed and will get a prompt reply.  I can be open and Nadine will try to deal with any issues efficiently and will always inform me of the outcome at the earliest opportunity.

I am informed of bookings in advance and communication is quick when this is not possible. I am always reliably informed of any changes to my bookings.  Nadine reliably and regularly communicates other opportunities in detail, for example informing me of opportunities for long term placements or training opportunities. She is always open to discuss further details of these opportunities.

Highlight of working with New Directions is that they have given me an opportunity to work at a range of schools across the Newport area. This in turn has helped develop my range and skills as a teacher. It has given me a greater knowledge of education provision in the local area and has helped me to build positive relationships with several schools that should be beneficial to my career.

I am very pleased with the amount of work offered and have been on the Guaranteed Pay Scheme for the previous two years. It has also been very helpful to be given work predominantly in the Newport area and I appreciate the efforts to do this and I would definitely recommend New Directions.

John, Newport Primary Teacher

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a teacher through New Directions this year. It has given me so many different opportunities across the primary phase and in a variety of schools in Newport and Torfaen. I would recommend New Directions to anyone who wants to work alongside all of the wonderful, friendly, helpful people within the office.

Ive been very fortunate to have Nadine as my account manager. Nadine is one of the friendliest people I know and has been amazing to work for. She is extremely helpful, always ringing for a chat and organising work for me and is very easy to get along and have a laugh with. Nadine works so hard to organise work through the GPS for me, ensuring I have work when I am available. I am so glad I’ve chosen to work for New Directions- as I have gained invaluable experience and a friend in Nadine.

Working at New Directions gave me the chance to work on a long term position at a Newport primary school. Following this, I was kept at the school for day to day cover and am fortunate to be working for the school part time for the next academic year. Without that opportunity, I wouldn’t have made so much progress for my NQT year, made so many friends or had the opportunity for a job for the next year.

Melissa, Newport Primary Teacher

Chloe is a brilliant member of the New Directions staff. She was brilliant and finding me longer term positions and was quick at booking up my weeks. Chloe was always good at answering any questions I needed answers and was always polite, approachable and kind.

Rebecca, Primary Teacher

I have worked with New Directions for the past two years as a primary supply teacher.

During this time, Annie has been my point of contact and her service has been exemplary. Her communication is fantastic, always replying to messages and calls quickly. She is extremely flexible, understanding the difficulties of arranging childcare around work. She has always tried to find me work in advance and local to my area which I greatly appreciate.

My sister also works for New Directions and Annie has been amazing at finding us both work locally on different days so we can share childcare.

We can’t thank Annie enough for all her work this academic year at finding us supply work.

Highlight of working with New Directions: Having worked for other supply agencies in the past, which have not been flexible arranging work around childcare. Working with Annie has been the highlight of working with New Directions.

I only work now as a supply teacher solely for New Directions because of the excellent work Annie does at finding me regular work, close to my home and around my childcare arrangements. Annie is a huge asset to your company.

Additional comments about New Directions:

Your online calendar is fantastic for arranging work around childcare.

Teacher Testimonial

I have been working for New Directions as a supply teacher for just under a year. My point of contact Gemma has been professional, courteous and friendly throughout my time working for New Directions. She has given me all of the work and support that I required and has provided me with effective and motivatinal feedback. We have been in contact regularly and she has been instrumental in my staying in supply teaching for the length of time I have. Gemma’s positive attitude and never ending enthusiasm has been a real highlight of working for the company.
The whole process of working for Gemma and with New Directions has been a positive one. Many thanks for the opportunities I have had to work for New Directions and for such great support from Gemma and others I have spoken to when contacting the office. I have recommended and will continue to recommend New Directions as an employer for supply teaching based on the experience I have had working with Gemma as my account manager.

Dale, Teacher in Caerphilly

From day one Carley has made me feel extremely comfortable and confident to work with a supply agency. Carley has gone above and beyond to accommodate any needs I may have had and was always on the end of the phone whenever I needed advice or support. Carley has made my first year as an NQT extremely rewarding and is the main reason I am where I am today, with a secure post lined up for September in a school I love working in. All the staff at new directions have been extremely friendly and reliable.

Highlight of working with New Directions: Working for New Directions has given me the opportunity to complete my NQT year in amazing schools across different boroughs. This has boosted my confidence and has given me the vital experience I needed for my first year as an NQT. I was placed in a school for a short term contract, which turned into a long term contract and now a secure job as a Reception teacher starting in September. This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my account manager and the team at New Directions.
I would definitely recommend New Directions

Additional comments about New Directions:
I would like to thank everyone at New Directions for giving me the best possible start to my teaching career and would mainly like to thank my amazing account manager Carley Edwards who went above and beyond for me and is the real reason I have a secure job in September.

Account Manager Name: Chloe E

Description of relationship with New Directions point of contact: New Directions worked hard to try and give me consistent work at schools I enjoyed going to. My account manager stayed in touch frequently and I had steady work overall.

Mark, Primary Teacher – Cardiff

Chloe was absolutely fantastic throughout my time at new directions. I never would have survived supply teaching if it wasn’t for Chloe. Chloe ensured she was always checking in to make sure everything was going well with placements. She was reliable and always there to answer any queries. Chloe made me feel comfortable and confident going around the different schools. I was always offered work within a reliable amount of time which was convenient for both myself and the school. Chloe worked her best to send me to schools I had already been to so I could build relationships with staff and school. I was given regular feedback after Chloe had contacted the school to review the day. Chloe supported me throughout my time with the company leading to me getting my current maternity position. If nothing comes at the end of this position I will be returning to new directions as Chloe provided such fantastic support.

Highlight of working with New Directions: The excellent service provided by staff, ensuring they were always polite and helpful when support was needed. Also the amount of work provided, as an NQT this supported my induction hours massively and gave me a wide range of experience.

Would recommend New Directions? : Yes

Newly Qualified Primary Teacher – Rhondda Cynon Taf

I would recommend working with New Directions.

There was always plenty of work available and it was great that work was also close to home. Communication was always pleasant, reliable and clear and anytime I rang or emailed the reply was always quick.

The were always really professional, I felt that if there was a school I did not go back to it was handled really well. Even though I was a NQT, I never felt out of my depth or overwhelmed.

I enjoyed the wide range of classes and key stages that I was able to go to. They made being a supply teacher enjoyable and not daunting.

Everybody was always really kind and understanding, especially when I had to ring in sick on a few occasions.

Gemma was always really helpful and approachable plus great in finding good schools to go in and go back to for long periods of supply. The team were really great, I enjoyed working with Gemma, who really made the experience worthwhile.

My Account Manager, has been brilliant. He is always positive, is open to get feedback and offer support and makes every effort to find work which suits my needs and is very organised (confirming placements, contact details immediately after phone calls) My highlight of working with New Directions as a teacher is when I see children having fun learning.

James, Primary Teacher from Monmouth

I have been with New Directions past two years now and I have nothing but praise for the company. This year has been as good as the year before that for me. The staff are always friendly and very professional, especially my Account Manager, who is always prompt in getting back to me whenever need be. I have had a variety of work opportunities from New Directions this year, and it has suited perfectly well around my university and personal life commitments. I never cease to recommend New Directions to my family and friends, and feel proud to be affiliated with the company. I want to congratulate New Directions for the fabulous job they have been doing and want to wish them all the very best for the years to come.

I have been registered for Learning Support Assistant work with New Directions for seven months. I was contacted by the Additional Learning Needs account manager who offered me positions in specialist Additional Learning Needs Schools. She has been amazing at finding me work and I can’t thank her enough for giving me the opportunity to work in a variety of different classroom environments. One of the posts I have been working in via New Directions was advertised as a permanent role and I was lucky enough to get the post.  I value all of the experiences I have had within the Additional Learning Needs Schools and I would definitely recommend New Directions Education for anyone looking to gain experience in Mainstream and Additional Learning Needs Education.

Angharad, Level 3 Learning Support Assistant, Cardiff

I registered with New Directions Education and my account manager on the Additional Learning Needs team recognised my skill set and ensured I was placed within an Additional Learning Needs School. The School placement I went to was my first with New Directions and appropriately fitted my skill set. Being in the right role has allowed me to excel in my position and has secured me a permanent full time role within the School.

Paul, Learning Support Assistant, Cardiff

I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your support in finding me such an ideal placement so quickly after my registration with New Directions. It’s so reassuring to know that you’re always there to respond so quickly to my emails or text messages for any little question I may have.

I have been working for New Directions for over 2 years and my Account Manager Gemma has been an approachable and friendly point of contact. I felt I could approach her with any issues that I had. Gemma regularly contacted me for feedback about the schools I was asked to supply in and always made sure I was happy in the schools I was asked to cover.

New Directions always provided me with a good range of work. They always tried to take into consideration the travel distance and tried to fit the work around my preference of age range and preferred schools. I am grateful to Gemma and New Directions for providing me with long term supply which turned into a contract from the school. I have thoroughly enjoyed working for New Directions.

I would definitely recommend New Directions.

Primary Teacher, Amy, Cwmbran

I have worked with Chloe for most of my time at New Directions . She has always been very friendly, approachable and very professional and I have nothing but praise for the way that she has communicated with me throughout my time at the agency. She has always been there at the end of the phone – particularly on a Monday morning when I’ve forgotten to complete my time sheet (which was very often!!!! ). My highlight of working with New Directions is working with Chloe. Thank you Chloe for all your support again this year! You’ve certainly made things easier for me!!!

Kath – Primary Teacher, RCT

I joined New Directions as a NQT and was very apprehensive. My account manager Chloe soon put my mind at ease. She is very friendly and helpful if I have a problem I don’t hesitate to contact her. Working with New Directions has been so straightforward and I’ve really enjoyed my first year with them.

One highlight has been being able to go back to the same schools and building relationships with the staff and pupils at those schools. It’s helped make me feel part of a team even though I’m only there every now and again.

I have found the online training provided with New Directions very useful and it’s helped with my continuing professional development . I’ve also been able to complete my NQT year because of the quantity of work provided.

Primary School Teacher, RCT

I have been working for New Directions over five years and Chloe is my contact manager from last two to three years. She is polite, approachable and very helpful. She understands my requirements and tries to find suitable work for me. I don’t work for New Directions as much as my other agency but always get work when I’m looking for it. New Directions is a big agency and can provide work to cater individual needs.

Primary School Teacher, RCT

Excellent communication. Carley regularly contacts me and has given me a lot of work. Very friendly and professional. I have a good working relationship with Carley.
Highlight of working with New Directions is I have been given the opportunity to work at some lovely schools. I was lucky enough to work on a weekly basis at Caedraw Primary School for the last 16 months which was a privilege. I would recommend New Directions, I enjoy working for New Directions and am happy with all the opportunities they have given me.

Primary Teacher, Cardiff Team

Matt is a great account manager. He maintains regular contact with me and is always friendly, polite and chatty on the phone. He keeps me up dated with work and information regularly and tries to solve queries I have as quickly as possible. He takes interest in me as a person and has enabled me to have opportunities working in an ALN school though contact with another account manager and helped me to secure a long term supply position. When I have left messages for Matt both telephone and email he always response very promptly.
Highlight of working with New Directions: Being able to secure a long term supply contract with the help of New Directions and Matthew at Heolgerrig Primary School.

Emma – teacher from Merthyr Tydifil

The highlight of working with New Directions is the continuity and reliability.

My Account Manager is both reliable and proactive. She thinks ahead and is helpful. This is very important for continuity and for providing professional teaching customised to ND clients requests. During the year as a supply teacher one builds up a relationship of trust with some schools and their staff and Nadine understands that and books accordingly.

Iuliana, Primary Teacher Newport

I have been working with New Directions for a number of years. My Account Manager is a friendly and efficient point of contact for me. I managed to secure a long term supply contact early on in the academic year but Nadine continued to keep in touch and make sure all was well and I was happy with my role.

One of the highlights of working with New Directions is that they always supplied me with work when I wanted it and I never felt any pressure to work a whole week as I wanted to be a part time basis. That being said I didn’t feel I was at the end of the line for work as I always had a steady stream of work that was sufficient for my requirements.

I would highly recommend New Directions and quite simply thank you for helping me continue to teach.

Sarah, Newport Primary Teacher

Having worked with New Directions for a few year, my relationship with them is great. Communication is great, I receive texts or phone calls almost daily and my Account Manager is really friendly and open.

One of the goods thing about working with New Directions is the website. It’s easy to record your availability, see your bookings and confirm what schools you’ve been in during the week and I would have no problems recommending New Directions.

Cathy, Primary Teacher Newport

I have worked with New Directions for over 5 years. I am contacted on a weekly basis to select placement of work. My relationship with my Account Manager is fine. The communication is good and I’m kept updated with days to work or cancellations.

The highlight of working with New Directions is that they always find you work in the areas that you choose and how often you wish to work. I would definitely recommend New Directions.

Janet, Primary Teacher Newport

I have been working with New Directions for the last year and have built an open and approachable relationship with my Account Manager. Nadine always ensures that I am comfortable with placements in schools and is very understanding towards my other commitments.

My highlight of working with New Direction is that I have been able to go to schools I enjoy and that I am happy to work in, and would be happy to recommend people to the agency.

Sheikh, Primary Teacher Newport

I have been working with New Directions for the last 3-5 years. My account manager has always been aware and sympathetic to my strengths and experience when placing me with any school, and a highlight of working with New Directions is that each placement has been a challenge and interesting for my development.

Having worked with other agencies I can honestly say that the support, availability and people at New Directions are a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend the agency to other teachers.

Rhys, Primary Teacher Newport

I have been working with New Directions for a number of years. Nadine has been very professional in the way she talks on the phone, answering questions very calmly and gets back with answers to questions she is unsure about very quickly. Nadine does not try and push me into schools I do not want to go to, or push me into going to schools when I have booked days off.

Listening to what I want and not trying to push me to do more than I want to do is defintiely a highlight of working with New Directions and I would have no problems recommeding them.

Russell, Newport Primary Teacher

My account manager Jennifer Lambert as well as every point of contact I’ve had with New Directions have been brilliant regarding their communication, reliability and affability. Any query or worry I have had has been approached with care and urgency meaning I have always felt very secure and at ease in my position as a supply teacher with New Directions.
I am very thankful to Jennifer and all the staff that have provided me with guidance throughout my time with this agency and I have very much enjoyed working with them.
It has always been a pleasure conversing with my account managers, Jennifer and Chloe, and this has been an unquestionable highlight of working with New Directions. They are very professional, fantastic to speak to and have helped to make my journey as a supply teacher very enjoyable through their warmth and openness.

I’ll definitely be using New Directions again in the future if I find myself wanting to do supply work again.

Alex, Cardiff Primary Teacher

I have worked with New Directions for over 3 years. Nadine has been the best account manager I have had since joining New Directions. She is efficient, friendly and extremely helpful . Nadine has always gone out of her way to check how I’m doing and giving me feedback from schools. She is in frequent contact and has always provided me with regular placements and bookings . I could not fault the service she has provided to me and I am very happy having her as my account manager .

My highlight of working with New Directions has been the relationship I have with them and I will definitely be recommending New Directions.

Lesley, Newport Primary Teacher

New Directions established a good relationship with me when I started working for them 5 years ago. Jen and Chloe, my account managers, always listen and understand my work preferences. Communication is excellent and The New Directions website is easy and quick to use. There is always lots of work available and I have never encountered any problems with salary payments.

Jane- Cardiff Primary Teacher

I’m currently in my third year of working with New Directions and they have always been fantastic. My account manager is just a phone call away and is happy to help whenever needed. She listens to my requests and ensures she meets my requirements. I have had long term and day to day posts and enjoy visiting a variety of schools within Cardiff. Working as a supply teacher can be daunting but New Directions have been a brilliant company to work with and provide support, guidance and training to their staff. I have learnt so much since going on supply and enjoy the challenges it brings. A huge thank you to Jen for always being so understanding and friendly! I have recommended friends to New Directions and will continue to do so! Thank you for all that you do in the Cardiff office!

Kelly- Cardiff Primary Teacher

I started working with New Directions in June 2017. I deal direct with Nadine who is very easy to get hold of and if I have any queries she is able to answer them straight away. She is very quick at calling back if you aren’t able to get through directly to her, and is very friendly, approachable and polite. She is not pushy when it comes to work and I have found that very refreshing compared to other agencies.

Since working with New Directions I  have enjoyed that they have been able to keep putting me back in the same schools which means I can build up a rapport with the school and good working relationships with the staff, pupils and parents. I would highly recommend New Directions and have already started telling people to call and register.

Thank you Nadine for your hard work over the last few months I really appreciate it and I look forward to September!

Samantha, Newport Primary NQT

New Directions have been great to work in my first year of teaching. They are very good at selecting schools that they think I’d enjoy working in, which makes the experience a lot more personal. In terms of contact, my account managers keep in regular contact with me by text and over the phone, be it to offer a booking or often just to call to ask how the day or week has gone. Something that I also really appreciate is that there is no pressure on me to take work if not needed or to work in a school that I’d prefer not to for personal reasons. This makes me feel like I am in control and that I get what I need personally. My account managers also keep a list of preferred schools that I enjoy working in, so that they can try to get repeated work there as much as possible. This for me is great as it means that I am happy where I’m working, but also this repeated work helps me build up familiarity and a rapport with schools. In terms of feedback, New Directions are also incredibly open about the feedback from schools. This is very useful for professional development but also in terms of building confidence when they share your positive reviews.

The highlight of my time working with New Directions has been how I’ve been dealt with by my account managers. Both of them work very hard in placing me in schools they think that I would like, and they are very understanding of my needs be that in terms of availability or issues with travel etc. They also work hard in getting me repeated work in schools, which in turn gives me some continuity which otherwise can be difficult on supply. As a result of this I also received a long term supply post in a school, which I enjoyed very much and this helped me progress greatly professionally. This was an opportunity that I am very thankful for and would not have had, had it not been for New Directions.

I’m extremely happy with my experience working with New Directions. I previously had a negative experience with another supply teaching agency in which I was treated rather poorly. However working with New Directions I feel I have had a very personal experience, which I value greatly. I have a good working relationship and dialogue with my account managers; and they have made me feel like I do in fact matter. They work very hard to address and serve my needs and I genuinely feel like I am put first. I cannot speak highly enough of my account managers and greatly appreciate their efforts in making the start of my teaching career as smooth as possible.

Jonathan, Cardiff Primary Teacher

I have worked with New Directions since 2015. Nadine is very helpful, she always calls me or replies to my messages when I need some help or information. She has been very understanding about my availability and which schools and years I like to work in. She has always given me work in my regular schools.

We can also have a joke and she is very good when I forget my time sheets. This year I have been working in a few regular schools and it has been fantastic, I have had placements in my preferred schools and this has made me more confident. I hope to continue to work with New Directions and I have already recommend New Directions to a few people.

Ambreen, Newport Primary Teacher

I have been working with my dedicated Account Manager at New Directions for around a year, she is friendly, supportive and a good communicator. I am really happy with the frequency of work and would recommend working with New Directions.

Emma, Teacher, Monmouthshire and Newport

Gemma has been a great account manager, right from the day I met her and was signed to the agency. We have talked regularly over the phone, through text and through email. She regularly got me work and was always working around my needs. Gemma found me long term supply contracts which suited me well and eventually gave me the opportunity to receive a contract direct from the school. She was always open to questions when I had them and these would be answered quickly. A super account manager!

The highlight of working with New Directions has been being able to work in a variety of schools, through short term and long term supply and gaining a fixed term contract from one of the schools.

I would recommend New Directions. They are a great company. Well known by a large variety of schools. Easy to contact and the online calendar was efficient. I always got work when I wanted.

Tania, Teacher from Cwmbran

I joined New Directions in June this year as a newly qualified teacher. My Account Manager Gemma is extremely friendly and I always enjoy chatting to her. She frequently contacts me and is always available when I contact her. She is very helpful and it’s clear that she is confident at her job.

Gemma found me my first teaching job very soon after leaving University this year. She frequently contacted me with updates on my file and her support has been excellent as well as genuine.
Yes I would recommend New Directions.

Primary Teacher, Pontypool

My Account Manager has been very supportive throughout my first year with New Directions Education. I was asked to continue for the full year after completing one days supply with them. I have loved every minute and the fact that I will be in the same school for a full year is great. I also know that I have my Account Manager’s full support should I need it.

Clare, Level 3, Newbridge

I have worked with New Directions as a Teaching Assistant for almost a year. From the beginning the agency were very approachable with a registration/interview process that was basically a really good chat that ensured I was matched up with roles and schools that suited my experience and personality. After they checked my references, EWC registration and DBS thoroughly I was all set for work. New Directions have consistently offered me well matched placements in a wide range of lovely schools across Cardiff and as an extra bonus they have also provided me with free training courses that have enabled me to widen my skills base and take on new and more challenging roles.

It was then that I first had the pleasure of speaking to the perkiest, friendliest, most caring and helpful Account Manager I have ever worked with at an agency. From day one her regular, upbeat morning calls with offers of work have been a delight. She always checks to ensure she is not being intrusive when she calls and genuinely gives me a pressure free choice when she offers a placement. She is very knowledgeable about the schools she works with and always gives me a detailed briefing about each school. She is reliably contactable and she keeps in touch regularly by various methods to ensure I am happy during and after placements and always shares client feedback with me quickly – feedback which is generally positive, as in my experience she takes the time and effort to match candidates and clients so well. Without fail, every single day that I have been available for work, my Account Manager has found me a well-matched school assignment. The only down side to her doing her job so well and matching me up so perfectly is that I have been lucky enough to have been offered long term placements so don’t get so many of her bright and energetic early morning calls!

Thank you to my Account Manager for all the work you’ve done behind the scenes on my behalf. You’ve helped build my confidence, got me into some super schools and given me a wealth of invaluable experience I can carry forward throughout my career.

Carol, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

“The contract all stemmed from one day supply I did for you back in November. Thanks for all your hard work, I wouldn’t be in this position without it! I just wanted to say thank you for all your efforts that have got me my first contract! 🙂 ”

Newly Qualified Teacher, Vale of Glamorgan

I have a strong working relationship with New Directions Education, especially my Account Manager. She always works hard to find me the perfect placement and is there if I ever need anyone to speak to. New Directions are reliable and keep in contact with me regularly. My highlight of working with New Directions is the relationship I have with my Account Manager. She has always found me long term placements and has been supportive, providing guidance where applicable.

I would like to make a personal thank you to my Account Manager. She has not only given me support, guidance and encouragement but has made me become a better education practitioner from the placements I have worked at.

Sarah, Level 4, Blackwood

I am a specialist Additional Learning Needs Teacher and I have worked for New Directions for almost 5 years. I feel I have an excellent relationship with my Account Manager, she maintains regular contact and is always friendly, providing as much information about placements as she is able. She understands my work requirements and always strives to find placements that best suit them. I have been able to discuss issues that have arisen with confidence knowing that she will endeavour to find the best solution. It is a pleasure to work with her.  I have always received an excellent service from all members of the Cardiff Additional Learning Needs Team and I have never had to chase an enquiry after I have made it. I have always been dealt with in a professional and friendly manner.

The highlight of working with New Directions for me is being offered appropriate positions by someone who understands the work I wish to do. I would recommend working with New Directions.

Paul, Additional Learning Needs Teacher, Powys

It is my pleasure to write a testimonial for my Account Manager and I would also like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to her and all the other staff of New Directions.

My Account Manager establishes a rapport with her clients and candidates which is a great asset to have in that type of position. She is warm, welcoming and an enthusiastic person who always support her candidates. Her communication on phone is exceedingly well which boosts confidence in candidates and brings out best out of them at work place. She is accessible, listens patiently and gives good advice. I have joined New Direction in October 2016 and since then, I have never faced any issues or problems relating to my working hours or pay, because of the well-organised and well-managed team. It has been a lovely experience, working with my Account Manager and being a part of dedicated team.

I really appreciate my Account Manager’s help and trust that she has shown in my capabilities. I look forward to working more with such a dynamic person.

Bhavna, Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Faultless. Always had work available for when I was available. Easy to talk to and always passed over good feedback from the schools where you worked. I honestly couldn’t say anything negative about my point of contact. The experience gained working in school right across Cardiff in different age groups has been a highlight. This experience will be vital when I start my PGCE in September. It has been a pleasure to be a part of this agency and I’ll be very sad to leave when I start University in Septemeber. Who knows I may even get the chance to sign on again as a teacher next time after my PGCE. I would recomend New Directions.

Huw, Learning Suport Asssistant, Vale of Glamorgan

I have been with new directions for a year now and have been very happy with them. They always phone to ask if you are available rather than just sending out group texts and have a personal touch so you feel they know and understand you. I am really pleased with all the work i have had so far and hope to continue building relationships with schools.

Joanna, Level 3, Penarth

I have been working for New Directions for over one year now and I have always received great care and genuine support anytime I needed. For a person with English as a second language it is always a challenge to start working in educational settings. It is often the banter and the small talks which make it difficult to fit in during the first few months. With my Account Manager, whose friendly and encouraging voice was always there for me, I have never felt left out or not knowing what to do. I have managed to find a perfect school for myself and I still work there on long term contract, which is really great. I would recommend to everybody who is interested in working with children to come to New Directions Education and start a journey which you will never regret.

Kristyna, Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

My Account Manager is always very approachable and friendly as is everyone who I have had contact with. One of my first positions was at Holton Road Primary school in the Nursery, as a result I was offered full time work there and Holton Road agreed for me to work 9 – 3, which was great as I could take and pick up my own kids. I have limited child care so unless my husband is available then it is hard for me to accept work.  I would recommend New Directions.

Vicki, Learning Support Assistant, Barry

My Account Manager has been very good at placing me in the right environment, which has led to long term placements.

Very supportive when my daughter had an accident and keeping me informed of courses. I starting work straight away when I joined in January with a 5 week booking. I have worked every day since and I am booked till the end of the summer term.

Fantastic!

I would recommend New Directions

Sarah, Learning Support Assistant, Penarth

I have an excellent relationship with my Account Manager and I know I can contact her whenever I need to speak to her for advice. If she is not available to speak, she will always come back to me as soon as she is available to do so and it is always within the same day. At the same time, she doesn’t bother me with unnecessary phone calls and will email or text me when appropriate. New Directions Education are so easy to work. There are never any unnecessary time wasting tasks to be done, most communication can be done via text or email and the staff there are always helpful. They are excellent to work for I would recommend them to anyone looking for jobs within the education sector.

Danielle, Level 3, Abercarn

My Account Manager is a very friendly and reliable contact. She has been approachable, supportive and frequent with her contact and always willing to help with any queries when they arise. An excellent and commendable person. I am very fortunate to have been offered a significant amount of work, adding variety to my experience. I have managed to work with a range of needs within a vast number of schools, which has improved my confidence in the long run. The highlight of working for New Directions has been the availability and flexibility of work that they offer. I really appreciate the support from all staff at New Directions. As this is my first official job in this sector I am deeply pleased with the amount of guidance I have received. I have been awarded with the pleasure of working with different teaching staff closely, with whom I hope to maintain relationships with in the future.

Zara, Level 4, Nelson

I receive weekly texts and phone calls from my Account Manager when necessary.  She is always friendly and efficient.  I had a change in my circumstances recently and my Account Manager offered lots of advice and options to me. She always wishes me a good weekend and is very friendly, but professional. The highlights of working for New Directions are; regular working opportunities when I want them and being able to take holidays when I want.

Denise, Level 3, Crosskeys

I have worked with New Directions Education for almost two months and everyone that I have had contact with has been very professional but with such a friendly, warm attitude. I am quite new to the agency, but I have found my Account Manager to be very supportive and caring. I have always felt important to her and I know that I can contact her at any time for questions I need answering.  I have really enjoyed working for New Directions so far and look forward to continuing that relationship. My highlight has most definitely been working at a local Primary School to me, it has been an absolute joy to work there. The staff and children are amazing and I love my job so much. I wish I had done this years ago. I would definitely recommend New Directions Education as from my first initial contact to today they have been brilliant. They have been caring, have great communication and are all so friendly. They put you at ease and I can honestly say that everyone I have spoken to there has been lovely.

The communication from New Directions Education is good and I like the way that I can check and add to my availability online. Also, contact with my Account Manager has been very good as she is always on hand if I have any questions. The highlight for me so far has been the speed in which New Directions have found me work and that I have already been able to gain experience of working with children with Additional Learning Needs.

Claire, Level 3, Abertridwr

I came on board with ND six months ago and I have been impressed.

Stephen, Tutor, RCT

Since working for New Directions, I have found them to be extremely reliable in finding me consistent work. My Account Manager will frequently contact me in regards to work and as I don’t drive, always tries her best to put me within the surrounding area to my home address. She is always happy to help or accommodate me should I have a query or concern. If my Account Manager is busy or unable to take a call, she will get back to me as soon as possible. I have found her to always be cheerful and helpful, she is an asset to New Directions.

New Directions has allowed me to gain valuable experience and become more knowledgeable within the Education sector. I have been able to work within the Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Sector and with that, gain experience with Behavioural Management. New Directions have also provided me with Manual Handling training, where again I was able to gain knowledge and crucial training for certain roles that I fulfil. I am hoping to also complete my Team Teach training.

New Directions are best agency out there by far! Easy access to your own personal web portal, continuous support and always able to reach someone should you need advice or help.

I have been working in schools across Cardiff for the past 2 years through New Directions. They have been brilliant at finding me work and are always friendly and polite. I was offered a temporary contact at a school I had been working at, but I would not hesitate to go back to New Directions when it has finished. They are definitely the best and most professional agency to deal with.

Lauren, Level 3, Dinas Powys

Working with New Directions and my Account Manager has been an absolute pleasure; I like the professional yet friendly ethos of the company. My Account Manager in particular has always gone above and beyond to work around my specific requirements to find work for me; she is very detail oriented and always follows up by a written confirmation which comes very handy to keep a track of what work I am doing. The one thing that stands out the most for me is that I have gained additional skills while working with New Directions through training sessions like Manual Handling. My Account Manager’s efficient coordination means I get to make the most of my time. I am very happy and content working for New Directions, and I wish the company and my Account Manager all the very best for the future.

I’ve worked with my Account Manager for the past 18 months and she has been nothing more than awesome! She is always so accommodating and does her best for me. I have worked on a long-term placement at Cardiff and the Vale College since she’s been my Account Manager and she always checks to see that everything is going ok. Since signing up to New Directions my Account Manager has been very helpful with everything. Anytime I wanted work I was pretty much offered it. My Account Manager found me a long-term position for 3 days a week in a lovely school where I had such a good experience and learnt a lot. This is going to benefit me when doing my PGCE in September. She always asked me how I was getting on in the schools and also gave me feedback from schools as well. My Account Manager was very friendly and professional and she made a massive agency feel very personal. I can’t thank her enough for the experiences I had with the company and the schools.

Thank you for everything.

Natasha, Learning Support Assistant, Cardiff

I began my employment with New Directions at the start of 2017.  My experience with them has been very positive.  Communication is good and the staff are helpful.  With holiday pay and PPA allowance factored in I seem to be on a slightly higher income than I was with previous agencies.  They were also very prompt in sending off an employment reference to my mortgage provider.

Ashley, Tutor, Cardiff

New Directions Education is a well-organised department, communication being one of the key skills. My Contract Account Manager has an excellent attitude towards affective communication. One of her qualities ensures that sensitive issues are dealt with promptly and professionally. She tailors the candidate to the client in order to get the best results for the business.

New Directions Education also offers the latest updated training programme which allows continual professional development. New Directions Education has given me an opportunity to not only develop professionally, but to have opportunities to work in conjunction with other service users allowing new teaching strategies. I hope to continue working with New Directions and their education team.

Anne, Tutor, Cardiff

Since Joining New Directions in April 2016, I have not been without work during the school year. The portal is easy to use and there is always contact with my account manager either by text, email, or phone. New Directions always provide and support any training required to ensure that as a tutor you can do the job, with the knowledge that the 100% support is there from New Directions.

New Directions provide quality support and quality work. I would recommend that anyone looking for work, join up with New Directions as they are the best agency to work for.

Graham, Tutor

Thanks for everything.

Kora, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

Two years ago I nervously left a secure job as a Level Three Teaching Assistant in a school I had worked in for nearly seventeen years.

My work/life balance was skew whiff and caring responsibilities were taking priority, and I explained this when I registered with the agency.

I am lucky enough to have as much work as I am able to do and, thanks to the patience, support and humour of my key Account Managers, I have been able to gain tremendous experience in all abilities from age 3-19 years.

I feel confident that, as long as New Directions will have me, I will continue in this role.

Sue, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Risca

My Account Manager is so friendly and personable, she went above and beyond to get me a long-term position at a school within walking distance to my home address as I don’t drive.

New Directions are by far the best teaching recruitment agency in Cardiff and have provided me with consistent work since I signed up in January.

Menna, Classroom Assistant, Cardiff

I have nothing but praise for her.

Helen, Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

A short note to confirm that my experience of continuing to work for New Directions this year has been a pleasurable one.

I have especially enjoyed dealing with my Account Manager as she has always been very patient, pleasant, helpful and understanding in ensuring that I have had a sufficient supply of enjoyable varied work during this time.

Diane, Learning Support Assistant, Barry

This year with New Directions has been a great experience. My Account Manager has been very supportive and helpful in finding me full-time work, and keeps up to date with how I’m doing and if I’m liking my placement. Employment with New Directions is an excellent venture as I have gained lots of experience in different areas of schools, and found where I would like to work as a Teacher in the future.

Thanks.

Jade, Speech and Language Learning Support Assistant, Cardiff

Since working for New Directions I have nothing but positive feedback for the agency. As a student, I was very concerned that I would not be able to get work that was adaptable to my timetable but this has never been a problem, I was always offered work that suited my studies.

I have worked in a number of fantastic schools and this would not have been possible without my Account Manager, it has been brilliant to be able to experience having an Account Manager who is so understanding and is always a phone call away. She made herself seem more like a friend than a manager which is incredibly reassuring, making sure that I was always happy in my placement.

New Directions have provided me with exciting opportunities that have allowed me to gain experience and expand my CV. I will always recommend New Directions as I have never had a negative experience while working for them. I feel very lucky to have had such a passionate and helpful Account manager that has always been so supportive.

Sophie, Additional Learning Needs Support Assistant, Cardiff

I really enjoyed my time with New Directions Education and it provided me with many invaluable experiences. I was provided with work in various of schools in Cardiff with many ages of children and young people. I worked with the Additional Learning Needs Team and my Account Manager was very professional, approachable and dedicated to finding me work.

Thankfully, I have been employed directly by a school that my Account Manager found for me. Otherwise, I would still enjoy working for New Directions on supply.

Tina, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

I don’t think I have ever had a more enjoyable interview than the one I had at New Directions with my Account Manager. As soon as I met her I was able to relax and not feel stressed at the questions I was answering. Straight away my Account Manager’s energy and passion for her job was evident in the first few minutes of talking to her. I was able to be myself, as well as receive all the necessary information that is required at the agency.

Since I have joined, my Account Manager has been in contact on numerous occasions offering me a variety of placements, and any questions or worries I have emailed to her she replies immediately. I feel confident knowing she is the person in charge, and she seems to be a constant happy and positive person.

Clare, Classroom Assistant

My Account Manager always has time for a chat if I have any concerns about work. She found work for me in a lovely school and I’ve been working there for the past seven months.

Gwen, Classroom Assistant, Cardiff

I’m really glad that I made the career choice of Supply Teaching Assistant for New Directions.  It was a massive leap of faith for me leaving a secure job.  Thankfully I’ve been kept busy and you let me know the day before at least about my next placement. I find that my Account Manager and the rest of the team are easy to communicate with and are always very friendly.

I try my best with the challenges of a different environments and expectations. I particularly enjoy phonics work and teaching children how to read and write.  I also love working with autistic children and Early Years.

I’ve been incredibly lucky to have been welcomed by staff at the Marion Centre and their positive feedback gave me a boost. The staff I am presently working with at an Additional Learning Needs School immediately accepted me as part of their team. It’s great to see the children flourish and increase in confidence and has given me a real sense of purpose. A great way to earn a living!

Clare, Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

I’ve been working so hard with New Directions and that’s why I’d choose them again in the future! I had the opportunities of meeting such wonderful people and learned a lot by their experiences. New Directions really takes care of me and supports my dream of teaching.

Alessandra, Classroom Assistant, Cardiff

I can’t thank New Directions and my Account Manager enough! As of December my contract wasn’t renewed with a previous employer due to funds. I was worried about finding work for January but I called New Directions as soon as I found out and they found me a long-term supply right away which I love. If I have any problems, my Account Manager or a member of New Directions are there to help or offer support.

Roxanne, Additional Learning Needs Classroom Assistant, Cardiff

A year ago I joined New Directions as a newly qualified Level 2 Learning Support Assistant. After years of re-training I finally found the job I love that, not only works around me and my large family, but has given me the confidence to carry on with my Level 3 course. Straight away New Directions found me a long term position in a local primary school and I have been there ever since. New Directions have given me my independence back and are always on hand to help, whether through training or just to listen. If I hadn’t gone to the meeting at the Community Hub I wouldn’t be where I am now, I’m so glad I chose this company and now I’m actually enjoying going to work.

Carol, Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Cardiff

Carol, Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

I registered with New Directions 9 months ago with no school experience. I was trying to gain experience in order to find a permanent job that worked around my child care needs. In this time, the ladies in the Support Services department have placed me in a number of positions and I have gained SIMS experience. My latest position has now led me to be offered a permanent contract, which is down the road from where I live and fits around my children. I cannot thank you enough for all the help and support you have given me. If it wasn’t for New Directions and the wonderful people who work there I would never of found my perfect job. #couldntbehappier

Victoria, School Administrator in Cardiff

My account manager has been a fantastic support through my first year of teaching. As a newly qualified teacher, the prospect of supply work seemed extremely daunting but she has been incredibly helpful and uplifting. She has been someone I can always rely on and talk openly with and always goes the extra mile to stay in touch and deliver extra information about schools I have worked in.

Working with New Directions has given me the opportunity to teach in a range of settings and to grow in confidence as a teacher. I have loved teaching different year groups in different schools throughout the year.

As I have just got my first teaching job I would just like to say I will really miss New Directions and if I ever find myself in need of supply work again I will be sure to head straight back to them.

LD, Primary Teacher, Caerphilly

New Directions are a brilliant agency to work for. Their staff have given me numerous opportunities to widen my experiences within the childcare sector. They are always polite and respectful when contacting me.  I have now done lots of work all over Cardiff and gained great hands-on experience within special needs schools and I’ve also carried out various 1:1 work- all thanks to New Directions.

When allocating me work, New Directions kept me as local as possible which was very helpful because I didn’t have a car when I first started with the company, My Account manager always gives me feedback that she’s received from schools that I’ve worked in and this has been a lovely confidence boost. It has helped to make me feel a valued member of the team.

I would definitely recommend this agency and would always speak highly of it to my friends. New Directions has helped me to improve my CV through all the work they have provided me with which will then benefit my future job prospects and hopefully help me find permanent work.

Many thanks to the all New Directions team and my account manager – very much appreciated.

Rupal, Level 2, Caerphilly

I have been working with New Directions for the last 2 years and have developed a good working relationship with my account manager who has given me plenty of work. She replies to texts and emails efficiently and is always friendly. My highlight of working for New Directions is the ability of using my CV creatively. New Directions should continue offering roles appropriate to candidate’s CV, as this year I started work in a college library which was never a consideration before. I would recommend working for New Directions.

I want to say how amazing my Account Manager has been for the past 3 years. She always tries to find me work, always sends me back to schools I like and keeps my preferences in mind. I am so grateful for each long term placement that she has offered me. I spent two years in one placement, which helped me gain a load of new experiences and build new and amazing friendships – it also led to 3 wedding invites! My Account Manager has been fab and honestly I can not thank her enough for how friendly her and the rest of the ALN team have been. I always recommend my Account Manager whenever I can.

Elinor, Level 3, Hengoed

I’ve really enjoyed working for New Directions, doing supply work in different schools across Cardiff, and recently they’ve found me a long term role in a local primary school.

Gwen, Classroom Assistant, Cardiff

I have been with New Directions since February this year. Best thing I have done to pursue my new career. The team are all professional, very friendly and are always ready to help. My Account Manager is brilliant, very committed and always has great placements for me which I really enjoy.  Thank you.

Highly recommend New Directions.

Farouk, Special Needs Learning Support Assistant, Cardiff

New Directions have made finding a job so easy. I had applied for numerous jobs directly as a teaching assistant before signing up with the agency and was never able to gain a job that way. After a year of long term agency work in a school I have now just been given a contract at the school meaning I will now be employed by the council. Without New Directions I would probably still be applying for jobs online.

Thanks for everything.

Beth, Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

I have been working for New Directions over the last 2 years and have built a great relationship with my contact. My contact is an excellent account manager for me and is always prompt in responding to emails, changes of my timesheet etc. She is very reliable when dealing with any issues and have always provided me with regular work. I would highly recommend working with New Directions as they are professional and an efficient business to deal with.

Alex, Further Education, Cardiff

New Directions Education staff work very hard to get me jobs in schools near my home. I have a young daughter in high school, this works very well for me because I am home on time to be with her after school. I am really grateful to my Account Manager and her team. May this continue in the new year.

The guys at New Directions have made working and finding work stress free, each week I know in advance where I need to be and what is going to be asked of me.

Communication between myself and the guys is fantastic, they make me feel a part of a team and that I’m cared about. It’s been a pleasure working with New Directions this year and I hope to continue my journey in education working with them in the future.

Luke, Cover Supervisor, Cardiff

My Account Manager has always been very friendly, professional, approachable and helpful with any queries I have had. She is in constant contact with me about work and other opportunities such as training through all means – telephone, text and email. She understands my situation of being a full time university student, offering me any available work within my area that fits around my life.

I have worked with New Directions since 2012 and it has helped improve my confidence and my abilities as a Teaching Assistant. I enjoy going to a variety of different schools and making observations about how they individually operate. I am training to become a Teacher, therefore the experiences I have gained through working with New Directions have been essential to achieving my chosen career.

I am grateful to New Directions for the opportunities they have presented to me and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. I would happily continue to work with them in the future as I progressively move from being a Teaching Assistant to becoming a Primary Teacher.

Katie, Level 2, Blackwood

I had been told by fellow supply staff about New Directions recruitment agency. Following enrolling with New Directions I never looked back since. Payments were regular and correct, queries I made were answered and what is more I became more confident doing my work as I built up my trust in New Directions staff. I felt I was valued and in turn valued staffs’ judgement as I got to know the New Directions team and they got to know me. I really enjoy the work I am contracted to do.

I know the difference of being valued and treated with decency when dealing with staff at New Directions.

Carwyn, Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

New Directions have given me a variety of different opportunities working within schools around Cardiff. It is a fantastic company to be employed with, I’ve gained so much experience and gained a lot of confidence since being with New Directions. The staff at New Directions are friendly, efficient and understanding. Thank you for all the amazing work you do for us.

Jessica, Classroom Assistant, Cardiff

I have been with New Directions since January 2014. Since registering with two other agencies as a back up plan, I must say that New Directions is the agency that I would recommend before any other agency.

The work has been ongoing, and I have never been short of work. Registering with New Directions was straight forward. The staff are the friendliest and work hard to find me work.

I have really appreciated the opportunities to take part in courses. These have included Team Teach and Manual Handling. Please note that not all other agencies offer this service. On the contrary, agencies that do offer courses do not offer it free of charge. Whereas New Directions do not charge us.

If you’re looking for a reliable agency to find you plenty of work, New Directions is the place to be.

Tina, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

I’m fortunate to have a positive working relationship with my manager. Our communicate is clearly and effectively help us build trust ,respect and understood. She always tried help me with difficult situations.

I’m doing my STLS course Level 3, so working as like supply teaching assistant with New Directions helps me improve my skills and get more work experience. Flexibility work is also important to me, because I can attend the workshop and look after my two little children.

Barbara, Learning Support Assistant, Vale of Glamorgan

I have been with ND Education for 7 years now. In that time I have had some very long term placements mixed in with daily placements too. It is always a different experience wherever you go. New Directions are good at listening to your requirements too.  I had to stick to the Vale of Glamorgan for my own family timings and they were very good at accommodating that request. It didn’t restrict my work days at all. Schools get used to you and start requesting you by name which is great. I currently have a long term placement with an SEN child in mainstream which was new territory for me and has been a fantastic learning experience .

My account manager is very professional and although I’m booked for each term still phones to touch base  and make sure everything is ok.

Rowan. Learning Support Assistant, Vale of Glamorgan

I have a good relationship with my contact at New Directions. She is always friendly, helpful and professional. She has always given me feedback after a placement and if I have had any queries they are always answered promptly. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Whenever I have required work my Account Manager has been able to accommodate me.

I have enjoyed working in a variety of schools and feel I have gained valuable experience in doing this. There have also been plenty of opportunities for training courses.

Ceri, Learning Support Assistant, Barry

My Account Manager is always very friendly and polite. She keeps me updated and has sorted out a few issues for me in a quick and professional manner. I would recommend New Directions to everyone.

Lauren, Learning Support Assistant

I have  been with New Directions since January 2016 and gained long term employment immediately.  I felt welcomed straight away as my Account Manager introduced herself from the point of registering. Thanks New Directions Education.

Kirsty, Special Needs Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

New Directions were great in getting me in to long term work with a local primary to me.  It was offered to me at a time when I needed it most.  Apart from loving and enjoying my time and work there, on a practical level it is just a ten minute walk away from my home. I couldn’t be happier. My Account Manager is fantastic-she is friendly, approachable, not at all intimidating and understanding.  She is always prompt in getting back to me when I contact her and is always cheery.  I have nothing but praise for her.

Helen, Classroom Assistant

New Directions have been great at finding me work this year. I’ve had lots of new experiences and had the opportunity to find out what I’m good at and what I enjoy. I’m impressed at how hard they have worked and how much they have catered to my individual needs.

Beth, Further Education Classroom Assistant, Cardiff

I have been with New Directions now for nearly 3 years. The team of staff in every department are always professional, friendly, helpful and do their best to find me work whenever I need it. They also give me feedback after a placement, which helps me to evaluate my own performance.

Jenny, Nursery Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

I have a good relationship with my contact at New Directions. She is always friendly, helpful and professional. Sarah, Level 2, Caerphilly

I have been working for New Directions for nearly 2 academic years and have been in the same school that I started in since joining ND for that period. I therefore, haven’t had to get in touch with New Directions often, although my Account Manager has been helpful and very friendly throughout and has said to call at anytime if I need any advice or support.

Working with New Directions has been a pleasure. When I joined I asked if they could find me work in an Additional Learning Needs School and I was offered a placement one close to home and have been here ever since. New Directions regularly offer courses that would be good for me and the team overall have been excellent!

Lauren, Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Bargoed

My contact is an excellent account manager. She has always found me bookings that meet my criteria. One such placement has lead to repeat bookings. She is approachable and quick to respond to any queries.

Stephanie, Additional Learning Needs Teacher, Vale of Glamorgan

Since starting work with New Directions I have found the staff really friendly and helpful, and have been given many opportunities for work placements, the staff are always aware of my schedule and give me work placements that fit around this. I have enjoyed working at every placement and feel that I am looked after very well by the New Directions staff.

Jan, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

New Directions are incredibly reliable at arranging work placements on a daily basis. I have a phone call offering me work almost every day of the week and I am often placed in schools which are most relevant to my training (behavioural and SEN.) Additionally, if I have a problem or an issue whilst working then the office team are very helpful.

My highlight was receiving the Team Teach training with New Directions. The trainer was very informative and helpful and the training itself has become very useful in many different placements.

Amber, Learning Support Assistant, Risca

When I first started with New Directions I was only working a few days or half days a week, due to other commitments, family and uni. Despite this I had regular work on the days I was available and regular contact from various staff members (as I could work in a variety of areas).

In July I was offered the chance to have an interview for a long term 1-1 position in a school…the contact who phoned me was great, and since the moment I had contact with her I have had nothing but good things to say about her and the company. If I have any questions or problems I can phone her without hesitation and they are always understanding. In addition to that she is aware of my family life and other commitments and regularly checks to see if all is okay in my personal life…this is a breath of fresh air and I can see that they take an actual interest in me.

My highlight is being offered a long term contract in a school, and being offered additional hours within the school when other members are off.

I have never had a negative experience with New Directions and can only sing their praises. I feel lucky to have my Account Manager as she is so easy to speak to.

Helen, Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

My Account Manager is helpful, supportive, easy to talk to and friendly – nothing is too much trouble and she is always there to help with any queries and concerns. I am updated when need be and the information regarding given schools and upcoming placements is always clear. She has always found me work in schools promptly and has encouraged me to try new work placements and give different school ages a go! I was also awarded “Employee of the term” by the company for work effort.

Working with New Directions has allowed me to gain new skills and lots of experience and travelling to different schools has also enabled me to gain more confidence.

All staff are always friendly, helpful and approachable. All of my messages are always passed on within the team and they are reliable in finding you work.

Angharad, Learning Support Assistant, Caerphilly

I have been working for New Directions as a Supply Teaching Assistant for the past 13 months. My Account Manager and her team have been fantastic in getting me long term work that’s right for me. I have worked in fantastic schools across Cardiff and gained so much knowledge and experience in Education thanks to her. I would recommend New Directions to anyone who wants to progress their career in education, enjoy the benefits of their fantastic pay rates and holiday schemes, as well as work for a company who works closely with you and helps and supports every day.

Mark, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

Since joining New Directions in May 2015, I have received a steady flow of work. My work placements have always been well suited. The training that New Directions have provided me with has proved to be invaluable and has led to being offered long term placements. The staff are always accommodating and extremely helpful. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the service they have provided and would highly recommend New Directions to anyone looking to join a fantastic supply team.

Alicia, Classroom Assistant, Thornhill

At the end of the academic year 2015, my much loved permanent job came to an end. I was quite nervous when I signed up with New Directions Education and unsure what to expect when I plucked up the courage to do it.

One of the first things that struck me was how friendly and helpful the ALN team were, none more so than my account manager. In the beginning I was always ringing her asking no end of questions; directions to schools, feedback etc. My account manager always has time for me and her continued support is much appreciated . My account manager asks the right questions about which areas I want to work in and the age groups I am confident at covering. All the supply jobs I has been given have been perfect, thank you for everything.

Tegwyn, Learning Support Assistant, Monmouthshire

I have worked for New Directions for the last year 2 years and have a good relationship with my contact. The highlight of working with New Directions is the amount of work I’ve had over the last few years. I would recommend New Directions.

Chetna, Further Education, Cardiff

I frequently contact my Account Manager, as I work in various different places. Due to this ongoing communication she knows my preferences where I enjoy working and due to this it makes both our jobs far easier.  She works hard to find me suitable work and I work my hard in response for New Directions and my Account Manager.

My highlight  has been experiencing different types of work, when leaving a long term placement I worked in various other places and have therefore experienced different aspects of the job title.  This helps me to establish where I want to be going forward with New Directions.

I have a good relationship with my Account Manager, but due to this she passes my name to other areas for work, so have visited places in Pontypridd areas to Bridgend areas, helping where I can. Again this opens up new doors and new experiences. There seems to be a new opportunity every day and I’m grateful for this! I would recommend New Directions.

Carly, Classroom Assistant, Cardiff

My account manager is the easiest person to talk to. She will take the time to call me rather than just send an email. I know she is only a phone call away if I have any concerns. I appreciate her passing on the positive assessments I receive from the headteacher of my current placement. I am so glad I joined this agency, I am working in my dream job and they have given me so many opportunities to increase my education and skills with the training courses they provide. I would and have recommended them to friends.

Claire, Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

They’re a bunch of friendly people who are always willing to help when I call them and sort out any questions/issues I have straight away without any hesitation. They always give enough notice to me to get to the schools I will be signed in.

My highlight of working with New Directions is that they gave me the opportunity to work with children in different primary schools and I would recommend New Directions.

Working in schools has given me such a huge confidence boost since I started that I feel I can do and help out more.

Edvard, Learning Support Assistant, Cardiff

I have worked for just under a year with New Directions.  The point of contact has been very welcoming and very professional. My Account Manager has been great to work with and will always contact me regarding how a school was. He makes me feel at ease working with new directions. I am happy with everything to do with this company.

The highlight of working with New Directions has been being given the opportunity to attend courses and to work in various of schools.

Laura – LSA Rhondda Cynon Taff

My Account manager is friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. She communicates well and makes me feel at ease when I have any questions. She is supportive and quickly replies to any queries that I have.

I have worked with New Directions for one year. The website portal is easy to use. The team sort out any queries quickly and efficiently. The courses that New Directions offer have also been interesting and beneficial.

Karen, Level 3, Nelson

I was contacted by New Directions 2 years ago as I had submitted my CV to a job website. I’m so grateful that they did, the registration process was so easy and my account manager found me work straight away. I’ve been at the same school ever since in a long term placement. I have recommended New Directions to a lot of my friends who work in Education and we are all happy. Thank you New Directions for an A* service!

My account manager is very very helpful and I know I can contact her with any queries. I have extended my skills whilst working in the role by working with a pupil with Verbal Dyspraxia. This has given me the opportunity to learn Basic Sign Language, adapt it to work with the pupil and help them to communicate. This is a very rewarding job and I cannot thank my account manager enough for finding me the role.

Rebecca, Learning Support Assistant, Blaenau Gwent

I have worked with New Directions as an Additional Learning Needs Teacher and Education Other Than At School Tutor for almost three years in long term and day to day bookings. I would recommend New Directions for anyone seeking work. One of the highlights for me has been working with a team who are knowledgeable, friendly and great communicators.

I have an excellent relationship with my account manager and her team who have got to know me, my skill set and my work requirements. I am able to discuss my needs and possible placements with honesty, understanding and humour. My account manager keeps in regular contact to ensure current bookings are working well. I am also informed of future positions, thereby allowing me to plan ahead.

Paul, Teacher, Powys

My Account Manager was a great help to me in my time with New Directions. She offered patient and friendly assistance in all matters and did her best to find me work in which l was interested and that was best for me.

She was also endlessly supportive during a time of family crisis. I’d like to thank her and New Directions for that most of all.

Thanks again to her, for everything.

Craig, Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

New Directions Education are a fantastic agency to work for, I have been working with them since September 2015. I have been given work in schools all year round including several long term placements, as well as having the flexibility to turn some down, which is ideal. My account manager is genuinely the loveliest supervisor I have ever had, and she has continually supported me and found me work throughout the year, and helped me with any problems I have had along the way. She is an absolute gem and I don’t know what I would do without her. The online system New Directions has for logging timesheets and holidays is really easy to use and comes in really handy for planning your work schedule. I don’t think there is a better agency out there.

Holly, Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

I have worked with New Directions for nearly 2 years. I find my Account Manager really friendly and I am able to talk to him if I have a problem. He knows that I need work close by or need a day or more notice if it isn’t close enough to get a lift. If I’m in a new school, my Account Manager always rings to see If I enjoyed it and even if I have long term work, he rings to see if I’m still enjoying the school.

My favourite aspect of working with New Directions is that I’m able to pick what days I want to work and also able to book any time off if needed.

Bethan – Learning Support Assistant – Rhondda Cynon Taff

I have been with New Directions for a year now, since being with them I have been very fortunate in receiving long term placements.

My Account Manager is always on hand if needed and always has excellent communication. She knows what kind of work I am after and the distance I would be prepared to travel. The past few months she has been helping me and giving me information about colleges that I can complete my training with. My Account Manager has also been amazing at finding me a long term placement for this September so thanks to her.

The company overall are so friendly and nothing is ever a problem. I have also been offered and able to attend many courses through the company that have been of benefit. As a company they have enabled me to gain valuable experience within the different education sectors.

I would highly recommend New Directions.

Thanks to her there are opportunities for long term work and have an easy to follow online portal. I look forward to receiving more work from New Directions – Thank you.

Michelle, Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

I have been employed with New Directions for the past 5 years. My account manager is always in regular contact with me and ensures that all placements are within reasonable travel distance of my home.

In additiont to this, he has consistently found me long term placements keeping me in touch with my subject area. I have recommended ND to others and, as a result, I have been fortunate enough to benefit from their ‘refer a friend scheme’.

Judith, Supply Teacher, Torfaen

I recently signed up with New Directions to obtain work as a supply LSA/SEN. They were very thorough and prompt in processing my paperwork. Throughout the process of signing up I was always kept up to date as to what stage I was at. I then had a phone call from my Account Manager who offered me a six week placement at a school. I have emailed my Account Manager on numerous occasions with questions and she always responds immediately to my questions. On the times I have spoken to her, she is always friendly and helpful. I hope to get more work through my Account Manager as I have had really good advice and help when needed.

Helen, Additional Learning Needs Assistant, Cardiff

In particular, I have found that my account manager keeps me informed of suitable posts and always  aims to find work for me in areas that I have requested. As a result I would undoubtebly reccomend New Directions.

Nicola, Supply Teacher, Monmouthshire

Having worked for New Directions over the past year I have always found the staff extremely helpful and reliable. I have my own dedicated account manager and he keeps in regular contact and is working ‘for me’ aiming to get me as much regular work as I want. He constantly keeps me informed of what is available and always passes on any feedback from schools which I find very helpful.

For me, the highlight of working for New Directions is the regular employment within one school which has resulted in me obtaining a permanent contract.

Kate, Supply Teacher, Torfaen

I am always offered work to me when available. I have been offered work closer to home, as I don’t currently drive. When I contact New Directions regarding anything at all, I am immediately given an answer, which is fab.

The highlight for me is that work is offered when I need it and being so close to home has made it much easier for me. My Account Manager is very reliable and has been very helpful to me. Thanks so much to her and to everyone on the ALN team at New Directions.

If ever I have a question my Account Manager is always quick to answer – either in person or by email. Thank you to my Account Manager and the rest of the ALN team. Being on supply has its challenges, but having a good relationship as a team makes it easier.

Carol Anne, Level 3, Caerphilly

I have enjoyed working for New Directions and having someone like I do as my Account Manager, it is easy to contact him and discuss any queries that I have. There has been constant work in various schools which has been a great experience. Never any second thoughts when ringing my Account Manager to ask him anything and he is very understanding. It is a pleasure to speak him on the phone although I have never met him in person. Whenever attending a new school he would ring at the end of the day to see how it went.

My favourite aspect of working with new Directions is working in various schools and gaining vast experience with different abilities. I also enjoy attending courses to further my knowledge and having an understand of how to deal with certain situations.

I’ve worked with New Directions for 5 years and have always been offered regular placements at local schools convenient for me. I’ve had some long term placements and shorter term roles allowing me varied experience.

Jeanette, Level 3, Newbridge

My Account Manager is excellent at her job. She has always been extremely friendly, approachable and understanding. I am kept up-to-date when required but left to get on with my job without interruption at other times. The service provided is excellent both by my Account Manager and the ALN team and they are a credit to the company.

Danielle, Level 3, Abercarn

I have worked for New Directions for 3 years. My relationship with my Account Manager is fantastic – she is always available and has always been able to allocate work my way, even when I changed from part time to full time. She also makes me aware of any training courses available.

My Account Manager and the ALN team are very professional and I always feel at ease when talking to any of them. They are all very supportive. They have given me confidence to challenge new opportunities such as one to one work, which I now thoroughly enjoy and have gained a lot of experience and knowledge.

Communication is second to none, both phone call and text. My Account Manager has been extremely helpful during my few months with New Directions. Always there to offer help and advice when needed. Finding me suitable work for the hours I required. I was lucky enough to get a long term position straight away.

My highlight, so far, while working with New Directions has been my long term placement. New Directions found me a local part time placement in a fabulous school and I have enjoyed my time there. I look forward to many more years with New Directions.

Victoria, Level 3, Hengoed

I have worked with New Directions Education for around a year and I would recommend them for a number of different reasons.  The entire ALN Team are efficient, friendly and I am treated with an informal approach makes me feel part of the team. It’s a tightly run ship and everyone works to help out.  The team make me feel like a valued member of staff and I’m always treated with dignity and respect. In my experience this treatment has not always been the case when working with other agencies, but at New Directions I know I’m a priority, not just another name on the books.

I have 2 account managers as I work in Caerphilly and Merthyr. In the beginning  I was a little nervous as I  didn’t have confidence in my abilities to get regular work despite having plenty of experience. I had no need to worry, as both Account Managers have gotten me regular bookings, I have not been out of work once! My Account Managers have great knowledge of the areas and Schools they are working with, they’re so reassuring and have put my mind at ease at times where I’ve attended a number of day to day bookings.

My Account Managers have been the best advocates for me, and I couldn’t ask for more!

I have worked with New Directions for a year and I believe the relationship with my Account Manager is very positive. He is very pleasant on the phone and comes across as reassuring, he is very reliable and open, he has informed me when my placements have been positive and gives me constructive feedback. He keeps in regular contact and makes working with New Directions very satisfying.

The highlight of working at New Directions has been being placed in a school and being employed every working day of the week.

Daniel – Learning Support Assistant – Rhondda Cynon Taff

I’ve worked with my Account Manager for the last two years, where she has been highly professional at all times whilst maintaining a friendly demeanour. Over my professional career I’ve dealt with a number of reps where my Account Manager stands out head and shoulders above the rest. She cares about placing you in the right role with the right school through a combination of experience, insight and clear communication. My Account Manager’s honesty and integrity are also an integral part of why I’m happy to work with her.

Marc, Learning Support Assistant, Risca

The contact between you as a client and the New Directions team is easy and very efficient! Registration was done quickly and in an extremely friendly and informative manner. Having long term employment in the same school and the relaxed communication between myself and the team has been the highlight.

Keri, Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Blackwood

My relationship with my Account Manager is very good. I have not needed to have as much contact with her, as fortunately she provided me with work in a school that has been consistent from the start of the academic year (September) and we’re now in July. However, on the times that I have had contact I have always found my Account Manager honest, polite and friendly. I have felt very comfortable to share any concerns that I have with her.

The highlight has been that I have been provided with consistent work within one school of which will be continuing in to the next academic year.

On first signing with New Directions if honest I had some reservations. However, having been with them since September 2015 I am very happy to be working for the company and have recommended New Directions to others.

Christine, Level 3, Bargoed

I have been working for New Directions for a few months and have a really good relationship with my Account Manager, as she is always available to answer any queries and is very helpful. I am offered work regularly. Highlight of working for New Directions is that I am able to work hours that suit my family life, which is great.

Lisa, Level 2, Blackwood

I have a fantastic relationship with my Account Manager. She has been consistent, helpful, reliable and always on hand to answer any questions I’ve had. She particularly worked extra hard to find me the perfect placement according to my qualifications and needs. She always made sure the job was suited to me.

Whilst working with New Directions I have gained valuable experience in numerous schools. I feel all the work I have carried out has been appreciated and valued. I would like to thank New Directions, particularly my Account manager for all the support, encouragement and finding me a long term placement in a school I absolutely love working in.

Sarah, Level 4, Blackwood

My Account Manager has been extremely supportive and helpful managing my placements. I am in regular contact and my emails and messages are always answered. She has been really reliable in getting me regular placements and I have not gone one week without a placement since joining New Directions.

New Directions have been excellent in finding my placements that I really enjoy and getting me into the same schools, so I have built a relationship with teachers and pupils. I was nervous about working for an agency, as I didn’t know what to expect since recently qualifying. New Directions made the whole process clear and easy for me to register and within days of getting my registration done I was in my first placement.

A fantastic company to work for.

Sarah, Level 2, Caerphilly

I have been working for New Directions for 3 and a half years now and have found them amazing to work for. I have been very lucky and have had long term placements, one lasting 2 years. My Account Manager is very helpful and is always available to discuss anything and very caring during a leave of absence that I had to take. I can not thank them enough for the support and training that I have received.

The highlight of working for New Directions is the long term placements have really helped me grow as a Learning Support Assistant and my First Aid training that they provided has come in so handy at work. Having one Account Manager has also made transitions from schools easy and smooth running.

Thank you so much New Directions, especially my Account Manager, for all of her hard work and dedication. Without you I wouldn’t have been able to take that step on the ladder to finding contracted work for the next academic year.

Rachael, Learning Support Assistant, Abercarn

I have been working with New Directions for almost 3 years. I have been in a long term placement for an academic year and it is continuing for another academic year from September. My account manager arranged this placement and I would recommend New Directions.

My account manager has always been reliable and easy to communicate with. I am regularly contacted by her to check on how things are progressing. She is very approachable and always does her best to ensure you are satisfied with your placement. Any queries or questions I have had, she has always dealt with them in a professional and competent manner.

Christine, Learning Support Assistant, Merthyr Tydfil

I have been with New Directions for over a year now, and the service they have provided has been impeccable. If ever I’ve had a query about anything they are always there to help. New Directions got me a job in a local primary school last September and I am still there now. In the event that my contract does come to an end I am extremely confident that New Directions will be able to provide me with more long or short term work. Overall I have been a very satisfied customer.

I have worked for New Directions for a few years, it’s a great way to keep in touch with the profession. It’s also great to work with the Special Needs team. My Account Manager makes every effort to find me the right contracts and know my needs when it comes to teaching commitments.

My Account Manager is a very friendly, sensitive person. She has supported, understood and listened at difficult times. Always inquires about your situation, even when I was unable to work for a long time due to personal issues.

I have been with New Directions for over 3 years. My Account Manager is excellent – she has a warm and friendly attitude making me feel comfortable to ask questions and raise any concerns I may have. She has been great offering me work in many great locations and really takes into consideration my personal choices for places of work and strives to provide them for me. I couldn’t ask for more.

Sarah, Special Needs Classroom Assistant, Cardiff

Just over two years ago I decided to dip my toe back into teaching, having been out of the profession for over 10 years due to a sporting injury and then starting a family. I was nervous, hesitant and unsure but the New Directions team made it easier every step of the way. I now have regular work in an amazing special needs school and absolutely adore it. I feel I am home again, in exactly the right place. If it wasn’t for New Directions asking me to have a go at SEN teaching I would never have had the courage. I now feel 100% back into teaching and a great deal more confident about taking on new educational challenges. Thank you New Directions – to the ALN team and in particular my account manager- for your time, encouragement and dedication.

Rachael, Special Needs Teacher, Cardiff

My Account Manager has been particularly helpful in finding me suitable work. She is always friendly, down to earth and a pleasure to liaise with. I would recommend New Directions above all of the education agencies.

Deb, Additional Learning Needs Classroom Assistant, Cardiff

New Directions have been superb at finding me long term work in two great schools. My Account Manager at New Directions has matched my qualifications to certain roles like 1:1 with a child who communicated via Makaton and my current placement was local to me so that I didn’t need to travel far whilst without a car. They are always available to speak to if and when you need them. Really are a good agency and would recommend them to friends and colleagues.

Rachel, Level 4 Teaching Assistant Cardiff

I first joined New Directions in July of 2014, the year I qualified and left college.

As of September I was on the payroll for work and although it was slow to begin with I started to get work as and when it was available. New Directions would call me and offer me a job for a morning, afternoon, sometimes all day. From January, I was offered work in one school which was meant to be 1 day, that then turned into 2, 3 days and then a week. Which then turned into 2, 3 ,4 weeks. In total I was there up until the beginning if January 2016 and since this New Directions have been able to offer me work relating to my speciality which is SEN.

I have been able to continue gaining experience within 1-1 roles of various natures and have loved every minute of my journey with them. Thank you New Directions.

Siobhan, Special Needs Classroom Assistant, Cardiff

I have had a great 6 months working for New Directions. I have had a long  term placement which was truly amazing and that was all thanks to my amazing Account Manager! I have worked as a teacher assistant for 15 years and have gained valuable experience along the way. Since working for New Directions from 2015, I have been given placements relevant to my experience.

There is plenty of work, training and I have never had a problem with pay.

They are a pleasure to deal with particularly my account manager, and I look forward to September.

New Directions have been able to get me work fast and sufficient to my lifestyle. Since working for New Directions they have been very understanding with the family issues that I have going on and have offered me alternatives to work. Since I had lost my job at the end of last year, my key worker for education has been wonderful in finding me permanent work to help with my issues.

Kelly, Additional Learning Needs Support Assistant, Cardiff

Since joining New Directions they have been very helpful. They provide work for me every day that I have been with them and feel they can’t do enough for me.

Jason, Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

For a university student from another country it is not always easy to find a job related to the subject of studies. With the New Directions Education Agency I have had a great opportunity to work with children of all ages in different school environments and so supplement my knowledge with practice. I appreciate the positive approach from all the people in the New Directions ALN team and also the opportunity to ask for a support any time I need it. For me the New Directions Education Agency is an open door and everyone is more than welcome.

Kristyna, Modern Foreign Languages Classroom Assistant, Cardiff

My Account Manager at New Directions has been a great help at finding me a long term placement. Whenever I’ve had a query she’s always been on the boil at answering, whether by phone, email or text. When talking to her on the phone she is always friendly and shows an interest in me as a person.

I would definitely recommend registering with New Directions Education.

I have been working for New Directions for the last 4/5 years and have received continuous work from the outset. If I ever have an issue I just make a call and my problem is solved, lucky enough I don’t make many calls. My highlight of working with New Directions is my long term position with the college. I would definitely recommend working for New Directions. Thank you for looking after me.

Carl, FE Cardiff

I began working with New Directions Education in December 2014 and in almost two years, there has only ever been one or two weeks where I have not have any day to day bookings. I am really appreciative of the service provided.

Donna, Learning Support Assistant, Merthyr Tydfil

I joined New Directions Education for Learning Support Assistant work in October 2015. I was recommended to register by a friend who was already completing agency work with them. It was easy to register and I have since had work offered to me on a daily basis. The positives for me have been the variety of Schools I have had the opportunity to work in. I have also attended free training courses that have enhanced my knowledge and skill set, such as Manual Handling and Team Teach.

My account manager helps me to find work on a day to day basis. My experience working with her has been a positive one, she always has an ‘up beat’ attitude and is very easy to communicate with. If I have any questions or concerns, she always answers them.

Jane, Learning Support Assistant, Blaenau Gwent and Monmouthshire

I have been working for New Directions Education for two years and took a six month break earlier this year, returning in May 2015.

My account manager is excellent, I have regular contact with her and she is always very professional and reliable. I am always happy with the work that I receive and believe that she does the best job possible in order to place me in Schools. Even though my long term position has come to an end, she still tries to find suitable work for me. There are odd occasions when work has had to be cancelled due to Schools change of need but my Account Manager does her best to find other work for me. I find new directions extremely reliable and would like to thank them for all of the recent work.

Nicola, Learning Support Assistant, Blaenau Gwent

I began working with New Directions Education in April 2016 and the highlights so far have been working in different schools, meeting new people and learning new skills.

My account manager tries really hard to get me as much work as possible and communicates with me regularly. She is easily reached through telephone and email and gives me information on the School or setting I will be working in. When I have been in a School, she gives me feedback on my performance.

Courtney, Learning Support Assistant, Powys

I have worked with New Directions on and off since 2014. One of the best things about working for New Directions is being able to go to different Schools and do a variety of different tasks. This experience has helped me develop ideas. I would recommend working for New Directions Education.

My account manager is always at the end of the phone! She is brilliant, she keeps in contact and is always helpful if I have a problem.

Donna, Learning Support Assistant, Monmouthshire

I began LSA work with New Directions in January 2016 on a day to day basis, I found the opportunities of being able to work in different schools and different settings very beneficial and rewarding. I went in to a long term position in March 2016 working as a one to one support, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. This placement has given me more experience.

My account manager has been good overall. She is very helpful in terms of helping to find work and will wait for your response when offering work, rather than giving it to someone else, as some other agencies do. When we have spoken she has made sure that everything with school placement is ok. If I have any queries, she will respond to them as quickly as she can, therefore making it an easy relationship.

Chelsea, Learning Support Assistant, Merthyr Tydfil

I began a long term placement with New Directions Education in June 2016 which was arranged by my account manager. One of the highlights of working with New Directions has been the consistent support they have provided me with.

I speak to my account manager often and if I have had any queries or concerns, she has been very reliable in answering them.

Bryony, Learning Support Assistant, Blaenau Gwent

I have worked with New Directions since September 2015 and I have enjoyed being able to work in a variety of Mainstream School and ALN School settings.

My account manager keeps in touch with me on a regular basis. She has always been friendly and helpful. When offering me work at a new School she makes sure that I have all the information I need.

I recommend New Directions Education to other LSA’s I work with.

Martine, Learning Support Assistant, Powys

I have worked for New Directions for 17 years now, both full time and more recently on an intermittent basis. Throughout this time I have always found all of my contact with the company to be courteous, friendly, helpful and professional.

Over the last few years however, I have found my Account Manager in particular, to be the best ND contact person I have dealt with yet. In addition to the above qualities, I have found him to be especially proactive and reliable in getting me work. He is friendly, approachable, and regularly in contact. He also understands my desire to get as much work as possible and is always willing to go that extra mile to ensure that this happens .

With New Directions I have never felt any pressure to be available at all times. Whether you want to work a little or a lot, or if there are any locations or times you don’t want to work, this is never held against you, so the level of service provided always remains the same with ND staff working enthusiastically and energetically on your behalf. Also New Directions reputation and spread of clients gives you the best chance of getting the work you want, where you want it. As a result, I would definitely recommend New Directions.

Paul, Supply Teacher, Abergavenny

I feel that I have a great working relationship with my Account Manager. She ensures I have work every week. She is very honest and open with me and is easy to talk to. I always revive my text notifications to confirm my work and I will also receive a phone call to see how I am and further confirming my work placement. Through New Directions I have made so many connections with different schools. It has given me insight to what I’m hoping to do in the future. My highlight however has to be working for one school in particular, I really enjoy working there and it’s such a great school with friendly staff and great students. I go to this school on a regular basis, and without New Directions I would not have been able to get the connection I have with this school.
I think it’s great that New Directions offer support and even online training. I feel very honored that I have such I good connection with the school that I attend regularly, and it’s thanks to New Directions.

Tanya, Cover Supervisor, Cardiff

I’m so thankful to my Account Manager and all the team at New Directions. They have helped me change my career path and now I get so much more time with my children. The team are kind, polite and very good at finding you the perfect placement. I have worked solid since January and loving every minute.

Clare, Long-Term Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

Right from the start, New Directions were friendly and welcoming. In interview my account manager immediately understood my needs and provided the reassurance and information I needed about moving to supply. She has always been a happy voice at the end of the phone and has accommodated my desire to work in certain schools or the times I couldn’t work.

I have had such a range of offers over the last year, from long term positions, forest school PPA, to support for learning. My highlight is being rebooked for my local school where I love working. It’s great to have a chance to build relationships within a community despite being on supply.

Thank you for a great year!

Charis, Supply Primary Teacher, Monmouthshire

I have been working for New Directions for the past year and have thorouhgly enjoyed it. I have an excellent open relationship with my account manager, who is always reliable and honest in all his dealings with me and I have consistently been given regular work in a number of different schools

As an ex headteacher myself, I would definitely reccomend New Directions from both a client and candidate perspective as I have found them to be a very efficient and reliable agency.

Paul, Supply teacher

I registered with New Directions in March 2016 and the highlight for me was going straight in to a long term position in April 2016.

My account manager is reliable and so far if I have had any queries, I can contact her and she will help me with whatever I need.

Patricia, Learning Support Assistant, Merthyr Tydfil

I have worked with New Directions Education since September 2016 and I would recommend working with the ALN team. I have been in a long term position, working one to one and I have developed new skills during this placement. I am also offered places on training courses, which is a great opportunity for me.

My account manager is an excellent communicator, enthusiastic and reliable. If there is ever a slight problem, it is always resolved quickly. The rest of the ALN team are always helpful too.

Ieuan, Learning Support Assistant, Merthyr Tydfil

I have worked with New Directions as an LSA since February 2016 and the highlight so far has been gaining experience. I have been able to work in different Schools with different pupils. On this basis, I would recommend New Directions!

My account manager is reliable, polite and friendly whenever I have had to contact her.

Ellie, Learning Support Assistant, Monmouthshire

I have worked with New Directions Education for almost a year. My account manager is brilliant! She has found me two long term placements and is very reliable. Before my long term placements, when I was doing day to day work, she would keep in touch and let me know as soon as work became available. She has been amazing.

The highlight of working with New Directions Education is being able to go to different School settings, meet new people and work with different age groups of pupils.

Shawna, Learning Support Assistant, Level 3, Merthyr Tydfil

I joined New Directions around two months ago and have been very impressed from day one. The initial application and interview process was both easy and suitably thorough for working with children. The relationship I now have with my account manager grows and strengthens everyday. She is incredibly professional and achieves that rare balance of understanding my own needs and encouraging me to develop within my role as an LSA.

Neil, Learning Support Assistant, Barry

My Account Manager has been brilliant finding me work on the days I’m available. The work has also been varied in day-care centres or lunchtime roles as well as normal LSA roles in the classroom. She is always helpful and approachable and I always feel at ease with her.

Annette, Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

I get 99% of my work through my Account Manager. He has been a great manager because he is very easy to talk to and I know he’s at the end of the phone if there is ever a problem. I have very regular contact with him because of the amount of work he gives me, he has assigned me to fab schools and goes out of his way to assign me to schools which I have really enjoyed which is much appreciated.

It has been a great experience working with New Directions, a few highlights for me, in particular is the amount of work im getting so I am actually having to turn down work because of family commitments. I have been assigned to some really lovely schools with such supportive and welcoming staff and it is so nice to be asked to return.

I would highly recommend New Directions. I went into supply teaching after a short career break and was very wary after being in my last teaching position for over 10 years. In fact, I got that job while I was working as a supply teacher for them in a school I was assigned to regularly. I enjoyed working for them then so it was a no brainer that I would sign up with them again. They are the only agency I work for and no intention or need to register elsewhere.

Alison, Supply teacher

I have found new directions staff to be extremely helpful at all times and very understanding of my situation since my mother became ill with heart trouble last year. I have great admiration for the job they do and would absolutely reccomend them to anyone looking to do supply work.

Pamela, Supply Teacher

I have been with New Directions Education for two years in October. I have had plenty of work and am lucky enough to be in a long term placement. I have also completed New Directions’ online courses, which have helped further my learning.

Julie, Learning Support Assistant, Caerphilly

Our Account Manager is a great point of contact. He speaks to me at least three times a week keeping me up to date with various different work opportunities. He is excellent at obtaining work for me and listens when I have concerns about any placement. He makes me feel part of a team which is very important when doing supply work, as quite often placements don’t look on you as a regular member of staff.

One of the highlights of working with New Directions is the amount of long term work that my Account Manager has managed to obtain for me, this providing me with a continued secure income.

New Direction are an excellent company to work with. I choose to do all my work with them as they are reliable and are always easy to contact. I also like the fact that you are assigned a named account manager who you are able to build a mutually beneficial working relationship with.

Stephen, Supply Teacher

I find that my Account Manager and the New Directions team are very professional, reliable and also very approachable and friendly.

Having worked for New Directions for the past 5 years I always receieve a friendly helpful approach from staff and a professional service. Also the plentiful supply and quality of work Would recommend New Directions? : Yes

It is good to work for an agency which is able to supply work even during traditional slack periods for example the late summer term and as a result I would definitely reccomend New Directions.

Rob, Supply Teacher

I have been with New Directions, registered to work as a teaching assistant for last 3 years. My account manager is a friendly person, approachable at any time and has been very helpful and understanding. She has been giving me placements of my preference which enabled me to gain experience and progress on my career. I am currently working on a long term placement for the past year.

As far as I know, New Directions offer a unique online service to update availability to work at any time, submit timesheets and keep track of placements etc.

I take this opportunity to thank everyone working in New Directions and especially my Account Manager. I recommend New Directions to anyone.

Naga, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

I have enjoyed my relationship with my Account Manager who is always pleasant first thing in the morning and has a very warm personality. My Account Manager keeps me informed of my all my assignments and tries to get me the schools that I have had pleasant experiences. I will be placed in a long term placement from September 2016 and my Account Manager has accommodated all my criteria. I am looking forward to starting in September although I will miss my morning calls from him with his polite and warm voice. Thank you to my Account Manager for everything and to New Directions.

I would say my highlight of working at New Directions is that I find everyone in the organisation are trained to a very high standard which is rewarding as whenever I ring them, regardless who answers the phone I am treated with the same level of professionalism. I certainly would recommend anyone who wanted to get into education getting in contact with them.

Also I would like to add a well done to your IT department for having the most simplest and efficient Web portal which makes life so much easier as timer is of value to all of us and they have nailed it. Well Done.

Nita, Cover Supervisor, Cardiff

I found my Account Manager to be friendly, professional and efficient. He understood my circumstances and kept in touch regularly. My overall experience with New Directions has been very positive and I’d have no hesitation in recommending them or using them again, if my circumstances were to change.

Thalia L, Science Teacher, Cardiff

I regard my relationship with my account manager at New Directions as very good. He is a really good communicator, good listener and efficient in trying to obtain the right work for me. He has the right balance of trying to be persuasive, so that I can try new jobs, but never pushy and I would recommend his services. The highlight of working with New Directions for me is trying new positions that I would not have had the opportunity to do, had I been in a permanent contract. Given me a wider range of experiences which I can now add to my CV.

Sarah T, Science, Cardiff

Candidate Length of time working with New Directions: 2 years.

My Account Manager is an incredibly open and understanding. She is a large part of the reason I’ve stuck with New Directions these last few years; I know I won’t find anyone else as capable, reliable and genuinely friendly.

Also the ease of using the website to keep track of work and communicate with the team is a big benefit of working for this large orgnaisation.

I would recommend New Directions.

MM, Primary Teacher, Caerphilly

I started working with New Directions from 2011, soon after I passed my Teaching Assistant Level 3 Qualification.

They have been very helpful in finding jobs close to my home, since I have a young family .

I gained a long-term placement closer to my home which helped me to continue my studies.

In 2014 I was looking for a job as a qualified person who was feeling upset because I was far from my dream job. Then, an ESOL Teacher introduced New Directions to me as a great agency to start with. So I went there and staff were very helpful because I have not had some of my documents available but they resolved my problems efficiently. Then I was ready to receive regular work from them.

One day, my line manager called me if I would like to apply for a short-term contract in CAVC –  I applied for it and I got the job through the agency. Then I applied for the permanent job in the college after a term and currently I am working in the college as a permanent staff.

Without New Directions, I would not be here and follow my dreams.

Thanks New Directions

Kiana, ESOL Support Assistant

My Account Manager and New Directions have made a difference in my work life, I really appreciate the dedication and the hard work they have made consistently in order to point me in the right direction throughout the year.

Sanaa, Foundation Phase Teaching Assistant

New Directions has helped me find many jobs and choose my career path in teaching and education. They have helped me complete courses to enable me to work in ALN Schools.  I am very happy with my enrollment in New Directions and look forward to future work with them.

New Directions have friendly staff and my point of contact is the best- saying it from my heart and have no intentions to lie or exaggerate. Thank you to all of you to keep me busy. I have to say that all the staff at New Directions are very friendly and helpful.

Thank you so much for all the help you are giving me in finding the best role.

Suheila, Additional Learning Needs Assitant, Cardiff

I registered with New Directions last October and have been given opportunities to work for every single one of my requested days since then. I am currently in a long term placement in a school which I love. It is great to experience some continuity within a school with the added benefit of gaining experience in different year groups. My account manager has been first class. She has been totally understanding in supporting my transition back into full time work and is always available to help me with any queries I may have.  I look forward to lots more opportunities with New Directions in the new academic year.

Kora, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

I approached New Directions to choose my career in Education, as I love working with children. They helped me by going out of their way to provide me with opportunities and phenomenal experience over the past year. One thing I like is their friendly and “nothing is a problem” attitude. Without their valuable support and co-operation I wouldn’t have achieved my goals.

I strongly recommend New Directions for anybody seeking their career in Education domain.

I have worked for New Directions for the past 18 months as an EPA Coordinator. My Account Manager is brilliant, approachable, friendly and always available to talk to. She is excellent at her job and has been extremely supportive in all aspects of the role. My highlight of working with New Directions has been working with reliable, helpful and courteous staff. I would definitely recommend working for New Directions.

Alyson, Further Education, Cardiff

My Account Manager is friendly, approachable and always keen to help. I speak with her on average once per week and receive regular email contact (at least once per week) from her. She has always been able to provide me with work when required and there has been no issues with payments to me. I find New Directions an easy company to work with and would definitely recommend New Directions.

Anonymous, Further Eduction, Cardiff

I have worked with my account manager over the last few months, she has been very friendly and provided an open and professional service towards me. She has provided information on a regular basis via email and texts for any available work. I have gained experience working with a variety of different age groups through my role as a ESOL teacher and a Cover Supervisor. New Directions has also been very helpful in giving me lots of experience with classroom management and it has been a real confidence booster in believing in my own teaching ability. I believe that New Directions is helpful for new ESOL teachers wanting to get their foot through the door, gain experience, and teach a variety of different levels and classes at Further Education colleges. I Would definitely recommend New Directions.

Caroline, Further Education, Cardiff

Our Account Manager has always been very jolly, kind and understanding. He is very chirpy and personable to talk to even when calling me at 7am when I am bleary-eyed and not very talkative! When I started at New Directions he would call me after work every day to see how things went and if I didn’t like a school he would try his best to find somewhere that suited me. I have always found him to be professional and supportive and would recommend him to others. He is polite and is the perfect combination of pleasant and approachable but also I know I can trust him in a work-based capacity, too. For me the highlight of working with New Directions is being able to work in a variety of different schools in and around Cardiff and I certainly would recommend New Directions.

Alys, Modern Foreign Languages, Cardiff

I have been working with New Directions for the last 6 months and have enjoyed a variety of placements but also the opportunity of undertaking long term placements. I have enjoyed working within a well-known, respected college having been introduced through New Directions. My account manager is a very friendly and reliable contact at New Direction. She regularly keeps in contact with me, provides me with updates and new opportunities and is very contactable. I think she is professional, friendly and helpful and an asset to New Directions. The other members of staff at New Directions who I have encountered have been similarly friendly, professional and helpful. I would heavily recommend New Directions to any new teacher in the industry, those returning to teaching and those who enjoy the flexibility of part time teaching.

Alex, Further Education, Cardiff

My Account Manager’s communication skills are excellent and as he is prompt, clear and concise. He is always reliable and his frequent contacts ensure he is very helpful and pleasant. His exemplary conduct ensures I consistently work with New Directions in schools of my choice. My Account Manager has proven to be one of the most helpful and understanding of managers and I hope to continue with this excellent service.

Sallie-Mae, Business Studies Teacher, Cardiff

Having been with New Directions for a year I feel happy with the work they have offered me so far, including a long-term lasting six months in a primary school and currently I am working six weeks in a different local primary school. There have been quiet times but then works seems to flood in which is great. My account manager is brilliant. She is warm, friendly approachable and does her best to find work suitable for me. I have only positive things to say about her.

Helen, Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

My account manager is supportive, understanding and reliable. I feel that he has gone out of his way to find interesting and challenging places of work for me. I also found that he listened and acted on the information i gave him on the type of area in education i would like to work in.

Last year I had a nightmare of a year but everyone at New Directions were an amazing source of support through some really difficult times.

Kim, Learning Support Assistant Level 2

Communications is good and enough work is given to me. They cater for my needs as well as their clients. They also have great patience with if I’m unwell or can’t make it etc.

I have made a lot of good friends and gained experience.

Everyone at ND is very friendly and supportive.

Ceris , Classroom Assistant

My relationship with my point of contact is easy going and open I can have a joke and a laugh with him he contacts me regular with work. The highlight of working with New Direction is that the staff are friendly when you speak to them they are fine with you if you decline work.

I have worked for New Directions for a number of years. I returned to teaching towards the end of the last academic year. I can honestly say that my point of contact has been the best consultant I have ever dealt with. Not only has he found me work on a very regular basis, but more importantly he understands the differing needs of his client base and has placed me in schools where he knew I would be valued as a teacher. This has now led me to gaining a more permanent role within one of the schools. I can’t thank him enough and have already been recommending him to other supply teachers that I come across who currently are not with New Directions.

Zoe, Secondary Maths Teacher, Cardiff

It’s always easy to get hold of my account manager and I find it really useful that I can also send him a quick text rather than phoning through the office. He always replies quickly and is so helpful. He tailors my work around my availability which changes weekly, and also knows the type of schools I like to go to. I feel like he’s made the effort to get to know me as a candidate and therefore I’m really pleased with the service I get from New Directions.

For me, the highlight of working for New Directions is the online calendar system to update availability. I also really like the way the company is so flexible in regards to when I can work. My availability changes weekly and it’s fantastic for me that my account manager caters for that.

Rhianydd, English Teacher, Cardiff

My Account Manager has been extremely helpful, assisting in building relationships with schools I have enjoyed working in. He is very reliable, friendly and I always feel he has worked to the best of his ability in obtaining regular work for me. He has been an excellent point of contact, compared to other agencies I have been associated with and I would recommend New Directions.

Michael, ICT, Cardiff

My Account Manager helps me to find work in schools and nurseries which is convenient to me. She often asks about me about my work and check that everything is going well or if I have any problems. She is such a helpful and friendly Account Manager.

Silvana, Level 3 Teaching Assistant

I have been working for New Directions for the last few months. My Account Manager always provides good communication, and she is always friendly and open. The highlight of working with New Directions is well paid ESOL work, hassle free time sheets and an easy payment system. I Would recommend New Directions.

I have been working with New Directions for five years. She has been amazing at finding me long-term work which has lasted for two separate one academic year posts. She keeps in regular contact with me and has even made visits to the schools to see me. She is very approachable and deals with any matter efficiently.

The highlight of working for New Directions for me is the flexibility and dedication of the staff. I am due to leave for maternity and the staff have gone above and beyond to ensure that everything has been finalised to ensure a smooth transition without any added stress. Also during difficult personal problems my Account Manager worked with me to ensure that I worked through my problems and eased me back into work gently. Then when I was ready for long-term work she found me a job straight away.

My Account Manager has always been open and honest with me and I have a strong working relationship with her.

Yes I would definitely recommend New Directions!

New Directions have been my employer on and off for over 5 years. My account manager gives me work regularly. She is a chatty and friendly person. From my own experience I find her very professional and easy to talk to. I feel I can speak openly and honestly with her and she listens and takes my opinion on board (regarding schools). I have regular contact with my account manager, normally on a daily basis via phone, text and email. I have been to plenty of lovely schools. I was also introduced to a school through New Directions and taught there for nearly three and half years. My experience with New Directions for most part has been positive. Would I recommend New Directions? : Yes

Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher, Sarah

I would like to thank the whole of the New Directions Team especially my Account Manager for the excellent support and consistent work they have provided me with. They are always proactive in ensuring that the work they offer me is within my travel distance due to my family commitments. My Account Manager has excellent communication skills, her polite and courteous telephone manner is exceptional, and she is always happy to help, nothing is too much trouble for her. I am very grateful for all the directions she has provided me with when I get lost on route to school. Thank you – I am extremely happy that I am part of the New Directions Agency.

Assia, Level 4 Teaching Assistant

I have been working as a supply teacher for New Directions for over 5 years. I regularly speak to the team on a daily or every other day basis either by telephone, text or email. I am completely open with New Directions that I also work for another agency to ensure I gain full-time employment; however my Account Manager regularly provides me with work whenever possible. I have to say working with her and other members of the team has made a real difference. She has provided a professional but also sympathetic service where needed. I feel I could communicate any problems to my Account Manager from schools if there were any issues and she would understand, listen and also look to see how any issues could be corrected without pre-judgement. I feel she has been completely supportive in offering the right schools and work to me.  I would like to say thank you for all the work to date and being understanding but also remaining professional! A good working relationship!

Primary Teacher, DR, Caerphilly

I have worked for New Directions for less than a year but I have worked in a range of schools across key stage 2 and foundation phase. It has given me lots of experience I would not have gained in a permanent role.

My Account Manager is in regular contact and always easy to get hold of. She is very open and chatty and always asks how I am getting on and my feedback from different schools. I would have no problem in being completely open and honest with her. I have really enjoyed working with New Directions and will continue this positive partnership.

Primary Teacher, Torfaen, Amy

I have worked for New Directions on and off for the past 10 years, each time I have returned my Account Manager has welcomed me back and found me posts which I have enjoyed.

She works very hard and I can always rely on her to find me work within my local area. She looked to find me work in schools which she thought to have suited my personality. She is so friendly and approachable in any situation. She is excellent communicating and always supplies me with the information I need for each job and each school.

New Directions are an excellent agency. If you say you are available for work they will always work their hardest to find the post most suitable to you. All the staff are extremely friendly and approachable.

There are other agencies out there but none as good as New Directions! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

LS, Primary Teacher from Risca

My Account Manager is excellent. Not only is she a delight to speak to but she also genuinely is passionate about ensuring I can get work when I need it at a location that fits around my lifestyle.

My Account Manager has been really helpful in ensuring that any work she has offered me does not impact on my own childcare commitments which was my number one priority when I joined ND. She always checks I am happy before I accept a new job.

When I have struggled in a role, she has always tried her best to find me something that suits my skills.

Ive had nothing but positive experiences with New Directions.

Kind regards

I would like to say how much I have benefited not only from my account manager’s personal help but from the aid of the team members.

You have aided me by showing me work in the SEN area which is of benefit to my skills and also by identifying certain courses which may be of use to me.

I would also like to mention how much I have benefited from the use of my New Directions employee portal to input and read agency and work information.

I am very satisfied at present with the aid of my personal contact within the agency and the education team members in general.

New directions has given me the opportunity to work with a range of diverse students in varied school settings throughout the Vale. It has given me confidence in working in education and I have adapted a wide range of skills such as being aware of differentiation in the class room, time management and problem solving. As a University student, New Directions has been very flexible around my study time and my experience with them has always been very efficient. A very helpful and reliable agency to work for, and I am always given hours when needed.

Ashleigh, Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

The first weeks with New Directions, I worked at different Primary Schools. As I am originally from Germany, that time was really interesting to me, as I got to know the British school system much better. After some weeks I started working at an ALN School in Cardiff and I enjoyed it a lot. Since this time I´ve been there quite regularly and I really like this school. So now I am happy to work with absolutely lovely pupils and really nice staff members.

Anke, Classroom Assistant

Since starting work with New Directions I have found the staff really friendly and helpful, and have been given many opportunities for work placements, the staff are always aware of my schedule and give me work placements that fit around this. I haven’t been with New Directions for long. Since being with them I have been very fortunate in receiving long-term placements. My account manager Jen is always on hand if needed and always has excellent communication. The company listen to your needs when offering you placements. I have also been offered and able to attend many courses through the company that have been of benefit. As a company they have enabled me to gain valuable experience within the different education sectors.

I would highly recommend New Directions!

Chloe, Supply Staff

New Directions were great in getting me into long-term work with Kitchener Primary.  It was offered to me at a time when I needed it most.  Apart from loving and enjoying my time and work there, on a practical level it is just a ten minute walk away from my home, only 15 minutes from my children’s school and it just suits me to a tee.  I couldn’t be happier!

My first point of contact Jen George is fantastic. She is friendly, approachable, not at all intimidating and is understanding.  She is always prompt in getting back to me when I contact her and is always cheery.  I have nothing but praise for her.

Helen, Classroom Assistant

I have been working for New Directions since September on a regular basis two days a week, and whatever placements I am offered in between. I am enjoying the experience of working for you and dealing with you. All my dealings have been with Kate, she has been absolutely brilliant. Always pleasant, positive and well mannered, giving me as much notice of placements as possible and keeping me informed of any changes. She is a real asset to the company and I will gladly look to continue seeking employment through New Directions and recommend you to others.

Jeff – Candidate – Tutor

New Directions have been superb at finding me long-term work in two great schools. The girls at New Directions matched my qualifications to certain roles i.e 1:1 with child who communicated via Makaton. Also ensured that my latest school was close enough to my local area that I didn’t need to travel far whilst without a car. They are always available to speak to if/ when you need them. They really are a fabulous agency and would recommend them to lots of friends and colleagues.

Rachel, HLTA

New Directions have sent me on so many courses, I’ve been really lucky. I’ve had lots of regular work in lovely schools and I’m looking forward to 2016!

Sarah, Level 3 Teaching Assistant

As a NQT, New Directions have helped kick start my career. My account manager has always been flexible, accommodating and has always found me work. I am so happy that I have landed myself a full time job in the new year at one of the schools I used to do supply for with New Directions. It’s even in my preferred year group. Thanks New Directions.

Leah, Supply Teacher Newport

I have been with New Directions for at least a year now and even though I have not needed work as yet, due to my main job, I have admired their loyalty, patience, dedication and consistency towards me. New Directions have persistently keep in touch regardless of my input to availability for work and it helps me to feel safe knowing their professionalism, reliability and that they are there when needed.

Melanie, Teaching Assistant

New Directions have been great in helping make the move to a new area, as soon as all of my paper work and checks had been completed they had work available for me. They’ve always been helpful and supportive and have even been able to offer training to help in areas where I didn’t have experience.

Sam, Classroom Assistant

As a PhD student with limited time, it was so hard to find a job which matches my busy schedule, but thanks to New Directions it is possible for me to work flexible hours.

Thank you so much for your help!

Roza, Learning Support Assistant

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Yasmin. There can be a lot of unknowns and inconsistencies while working as a cover teacher. All kinds of problems can arise and it’s comforting to know that someone as organised and professional is working hard to ensure I have up to date information and anything else I need. Not only that, I know that even if I’m called in to teach with minimal time to prepare, Yasmin will have my back. A consumate professional, I look forward to working with her more in the future.

David – Lecturer, Cardiff

New Directions is the first agency I have worked for, therefore I don’t have much experience in working for any other agency.  However, I would not work for anyone else.

I’m always impressed with the service orientation I find when I interact with Yasmin.  She really listens carefully and gets my queries resolved very quickly.  Yasmin always responds to my questions almost immediately and addresses problems very effectively.  Yasmin is really easy to work with and seems to appreciate her clients.

I wholeheartedly recommend New Directions to all colleagues as the ‘full package deal’, a team full of cutting-edge talent, dedication and passion for their clients.

Laura, Administrator, Cardiff

For me New Directions, as a whole and Jen, as an individual, helping me gain work has been a very pleasant experience. I haven’t really been fond of some agencies due to not being treated fairly, but Jen has been supportive and provided me with information needed to assist me to work, but most importantly she has been very easy to talk to and for me, this is the most important and crucial part of any communication with someone, to feel respected and appreciated for the positive atmosphere and rapport she has provided me with, So thank you Jen!

New Directions have helped me start a new career as a Learning Support Assistant, a job that I very much enjoy within a college that I feel at home in. I also find the free courses very useful and have provided extra pluses to my CV. Jennifer has been particularly helpful in finding me suitable work. She is always friendly, down to earth and a pleasure to liaise with. I would recommend New Directions above all of the education agencies that I am listed with.

Debbie, Learning Support Assistant

I have been with New Directions now for just over 2 years. The team of staff in every department are always professional, friendly, helpful and do their best to find me work whenever I need it. They also give me feedback after a placement, which helps me to evaluate my own performance.

I have had varied work in different settings around Cardiff, mostly nurseries, but each setting is different. It has also been very helpful to take online courses such as Safeguarding, which has enabled me to learn all there is to know in current legislation and practice on the subject.

I understand that New Directions is now the recommended provider for agency staff in schools, play schemes and social care for Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan and Rhondda Cynon Taff, and I can see why!

Fantastic team who are always on hand to offer advice and support and make me feel so proud to work for New Directions.

I’m lucky to have been in my current school for 11 months but have total faith and confidence that when this placement ends, the team move heaven and earth to find me another school.

This is my third year at New Directions and I have no complaints. I have always had regular work and have been lucky to have 3 long term placements, the best being the one I am currently in as it has given me the experience of working in Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2, both of which I have thoroughly enjoyed.

The staff at New Directions have always been friendly and professional, like I said, I have no complaints at all.

I am very impressed with New Directions and the amount of bookings I have had with them. They have a very efficient and friendly manner. Jennifer, my manager, and her team are always on hand and so helpful. Many people seem to sign up with several agencies but I prefer to stay loyal just to New Directions. Their free Team Teach and Manual Handling courses have proved especially beneficial to me resulting in my receiving bookings in a special school which is so rewarding. I have been with this great Company now for a year and looking forward to many more years to come.

New Directions has always been very helpful with meeting the Teachers’ preferences; finding temporary teaching work as a supply teacher or a home tutor. I have been fortunate enough to work with a few teaching agencies, but in the end, I decided to work only with New Directions.

The agents in the office are always available to solve any issues that arise, even if my agent was not available, I could confidently rely on other staff in the office to help me out.

Last year I was studying full-time, however, New Directions have enabled me to work part-time, which not only kept my continuous employment, it enabled me to utilise my teaching skills and pay for my studies.

I am happy to work with New Directions and would recommend to other teacher too.

Alice, Teacher

New Directions are friendly and professional. My highlight of working with New Directions is gaining a brilliant long term placement in a very welcoming school local to me. I am very glad I joined the agency. They have been excellent in providing work and they are excellent in dealing with any queries that I have. Well done Cardiff Branch!

New Directions have allowed me to be completely flexible with my career, providing me with work when it suits me. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and I always feel supported and valued.  They have helped me to build excellent relationships with schools and gain experience in both mainstream and special needs, which has proved invaluable. I have been able to return regularly to schools that I love working with, making my job really enjoyable!

Ruth, SEN Teacher

New Directions have helped me find teaching work, ranging from day-to-day or long-term positions.

I am happy with the Company and the Account Managers.

Andreia, ALN Teacher

Jen has been amazing. I was really worried about changing career and leaving a job I had done for over 10 years. Jen took all the worry out of it and made a new exciting chapter for me.

Claire, Teaching Assistant

A few years ago I made a difficult decision to change my career from Social Services to Education. I decided to join an agency to gain experience. Unfortunately I chose the first agency I came across in the Yellow Pages- a different agency, at this time I had not heard of New Directions nor did I take the time to find out about this other agency. Payments for contracts were missed and queries went unresolved.

Following this bad experience I did some research and had been told by fellow supply staff about New Directions recruitment agency. Following enroling with New Directions I never looked back. Payments were regular and correct, queries I made were answered and what is more, I became more confident doing my work as I built up my trust in New Directions staff. I felt I was valued and in turn valued staff judgement as I got to know New Directions’ staff team and they got to know me. I really enjoy the work I am contracted to do.

I put up with all kinds of bad poor bad practices with the first agency as I have now come to realise I lacked experience and knew no different. Well now I certainly do know the difference of being valued and treated with decency when dealing with staff at New Directions.

New Directions has helped me to be confident. The team is very helpful and they answer my questions promptly. They have supported me a lot through gaining employment.

Asmaa, Classroom Assistant

I’m writing to give the New Directions team in general and Jen in particular the highest recommendation.

The team has a great understanding of their client’s experiences, backgrounds and commitments. Since registering with New Directions one year ago I have been offered more frequent long-term jobs rather than day-to-day supply which I prefer!

The staff are amazing, Jen is my line manager so she is the main person I deal with. Jen has been very friendly as we usually have friendly chats enquiring about my work and how I feel about my new duties, she understands my needs and finds me suitable positions that are geographically convenient as well.

Wedyan, Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Jennifer has been fantastic at providing work for me since taking over from Jess, she is always a pleasure to speak with on the phone and is always helpful when I have a query, thanks Jennifer for the work you have provided for me.

Natalie, Classroom Assistant

I have worked for New Directions Education for nearly a decade. I have always had a good rapport with the consultants who have managed to match my CV to relevant roles within Secondary and Primary schools in Cardiff and the Vale. Jess and Jen have been very helpful and supportive in finding me work and Jen is always only a phone call away if I have any concerns.

Beccs, Learning Support

Yasmin Madhloom has been my Account Manager for over 3 months. She has always been exceedingly professional and helpful with organising my assignments and dealing with many enquiries and issues. Yasmin was also very effective in the process of setting me up with the New Directions agency, always ensuring things run smoothly and efficiently. As my first and most important point of contact with the agency, she is the friendly, caring and enthusiastic face of my employer. Yasmin is always easy to get hold of in case of any information needed and she ensures I know all the available details of each of my teaching assignments. I feel that I am very well looked after by Yasmin and I hope she finds working with me equally effective and professional.

Aleksandra, Lecturer, Cardiff

Thanks to the ALN Team at New Directions for finding me long-term work and for being so friendly and accommodating. This is my second year with New Directions and they have always given me as much work as I needed until the last days of term. Thank you!

Working for New Directions has been awesome, I started working in January 2014. The joining process was very quick and easy the staff are very friendly and helpful.

It’s a lovely feeling when certain schools call back for you and leave good feedback about you.

When I first started I was only available 3 days a week, as I was still studying my Level 2, but I still managed to get continuous work for the 3 days I was available. Thank you New Directions, looking forward to 2016!

A note to say what a fantastic job New Directions has done to find me work. I have been continually in work since I signed up, have never had any pay problems or any other issues, and is by far the most reliable and organised agency I have been with.

The only thing I regret is not having joined them sooner.

Thanks for the help and work.

My experience of working with New Directions has been excellent. My Account Manager Sian shows a great deal of understanding and give and take always finding work for me in local schools where possible. I also appreciate the fact that the personal touch is more prevalent than the financial aspect.

Lisa – Welsh Medium Primary Teacher – Newport

Last year, around this time, I contacted New Directions to be a candidate. The process was fast and very straightforward. Since then, I have been very happy with my choice to work with them. All staff are kind, helpful and work hard to find me work. The website is really good – I can always log in to check my bookings, pay slips and change my availability of work as I usually work part-time. I have gained a lot of experience with working and adapting myself to suit different school environments. New Directions are keen to provide any necessary training for all candidates.

I would recommend New Directions to anybody who would like to pursue a career in education with confidence.

Communication and openness with New Directions and their staff is easy, welcoming and warming. They are a very reliable organisation in regards to work and updates.  A particular highlight would be the consistency of communication between New Directions and myself, in addition to their helpfulness and support. New Directions were there for me during a difficult time in my employment. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time of working for them and am proud to fly the flag, promote and represent them in my work and other duties. I would recommend New Directions.

Sian is professional at all times and I have not felt under pressure to agree to work. I would highly recommend New Directions to anyone! My name is Peter and I’m bilingual teaching assistant in primary schools in Cardiff. In July 2015 , I was made redundant so it was an extremely difficult time for me! I registered with New Directions in October and they listened to my situation and found me a suitable position in very short time. I became a happy bunny again because I love my job and most importantly, I can use my skills to help pupils who give me inspirations every single day.

I would like to THANK all the fantastic people of the New Directions team, who I met and who helped me from such a horrible, depressive situation.

THANK YOU!

Peter , LSA – Cardiff

I have been registered with New Directions since the end of August 2015 and have been really pleased by the amount of work I have been given. I find all the staff very helpful and professional and would highly recommend New Directions.

Dan has, right from the start, worked extremely hard to find work for me. As a result, despite being registered with 3 additional agencies, it is with New Directions, (through Dan’s complete commitment to working for you), that I have received about 90% or more of my work as opposed to the other 3 agencies over the last 11/12 months. Dan has always given me the time to discuss my reflections on different placements at different schools, (sometimes for quite lengthy time periods-I talk a lot!) without ever rushing me. He is therefore not only an excellent communicator but someone with incredible patience and an excellent listener at the same time. Dan has been very reliable and has contacted me extremely frequently, not only to offer me work, but also in response to any queries that I have had at different points in time. He has always communicated clearly the daily rate involved and the required responsibilities.

There have been many highlights. Having worked in the same school for 23 years, working for yourselves in many different schools has given me the opportunity to greatly broaden my experience of the job of teaching. I have developed a range of new teaching approaches and techniques that wouldn’t have occurred otherwise. I have met many new people. My two week placement at King Henry VIII school in Abergavenny I will always remember fondly for many reasons.

As a result I would definitely reccomend New Directions!

Phil

It has been lovely working for New Directions again. They are flexible around my part time job and having a child. A big thank you to my account manager, Shannon, for always being understanding and finding me work even at short notice.

I have really enjoyed having her as my account manager she is always understanding and gives a personal touch when discussing my placements. Shannon is always there to help and I really appreciate her friendly nature. Keep up the good work New Directions.

Rebeka, Newport supply teacher

Shannon, my point of contact, is always very pleasant and understanding of my wishes regarding which schools I want or do not want to work in. She’s always very polite and efficient in her work, letting me know about any work available and bookings she places me in. She always answers my queries and is always willing to find out information I ask for if she doesn’t know the answer there and then. Many thanks, New Directions and Shannon.

Georgia, supply teacher in Newport

I have had two long-term placements at schools I have fallen in love with. Both of these opportunities have arisen thanks to New Directions. Any issues/problems I have had have been quickly sorted by the outstanding team that work there and I am truly thankful for all that they do.

Jac, Learning Support Assistant

I joined New Directions initially for the occasional days work to go alongside a University Degree. Even though my days were somewhat random, on nearly every occasion the company found work for me. I was able to work in different areas in South Wales and they catered for this. When my circumstances changed and I was able to work more days New Directions could accommodate for this also.

My personal circumstances mean that sometimes I have to book odd days off, being a single mum and still continuing in education warrants this…however my close relationship with my account manager means that they understand my situation and as long as I keep them informed in time then both the company and the school I work for understand and accept this.   Phone calls to ND usually start with ‘Hi Carly, how are the children ..’ they take and interest in me not only the work I provide.

When a long term supply position came up I had a phone call to say I was considered for it, and thankfully I was accepted and now I work in a fantastic school who call me in for extra hours if they require extra help as they know I am reliable.

New Directions are the stepping stones to my career and without them I wouldn’t be where I am.

I would like to say a huge thank-you to New Directions. They have always helped me find a perfect place for me to work. Everyone I have spoken to are always so happy to help and always treat me with respect and understanding. They are honestly the best company I have joined and I would suggest anyone looking to go into any of the services they provide, to join up to.

Working with New Directions has been a totally professional experience. All the staff are excellent and I have been given assignments whenever I am available and the support is fantastic.

My Account Manager Sian always tries her very best to find the right placements for me within local Welsh Language schools.  I was excited about taking this step and am enjoying it greatly. I can’t recommend New Directions highly enough.

Lynda – LSA – Welsh Language – Caerphilly

I have had a really great experience working for New Directions. I always receive frequent communication even if it’s just a phone call or text to see how my week is going and or to check in and make sure that I’m enjoying my current position. My Account Manager is extremely reliable and available whenever I need anything. Sian is so easy to talk to and always friendly! I couldn’t ask for a better relationship in this respect. I am continuing to enjoy my placements with a highlight for me being that I have been getting to work in many different environments allowing me to grow my self confidence through doing this. I would definitely recommend New Directions.

Sophie, Supply Staff

My account managers are Rebecca and Chris and I have worked with New Directions since 2011.

My relationship with Becky is amazing. I have not always been given work by Becky but in the last year or so that I have my experience of working with the agency has improved incredibly. She is very good with communication and keeps me up to date with everything, even if it’s just a call to say that she is still looking for work for me for that week. She is much more friendly than any other person I have worked for before and makes me feel at ease when speaking to her. She does not pressure me into taking on any work that I don’t feel comfortable with and is not abrupt if I turn work down. She is very reliable and if I have any issues or queries, I feel comfortable talking to her if I am not happy with something, which, I have not always felt. She is in regular contact and is very informative whenever she rings me.

The highlight of working with New Directions for me has definitely got to be the amount of experience I have gained and all the wonderful schools I have had the pleasure of working in. I have learned a lot about myself and a lot about how to be a better LSA. I feel I am improving everyday. Although I am yet to find full time employment, I have had several long term roles in schools that I have loved and am happy to go back to whenever they need me. Even though I attended university for three years and gained the qualifications, I feel that I have only really built and developed my skills since being part of New Directions where I have had the opportunity to go out and use what I have learned in a working environment.

I would recommend New Directions!

Jessica, Supply Staff

My account manager is Rebecca Kelley and I have worked with New Directions for just under a year. Rebecca is very friendly and open, she always asks how my placements are. She regularly calls me, even if there is no work available. The highlight of working with New Directions has been meeting and getting to know fellow professionals and children. I would recommend New Directions.

Teresa, Supply Staff

My account manager is Rebecca, and I have worked with New Directions for just under a year. I have found Rebecca very reliable, easy to contact and helpful. Both contacts I have with New Directions for teaching assistant bookings, Dominic, and teachers, Shannon, are extremely professional, very friendly and a pleasure to do business with.

It’s great knowing that when I make a request they will do their best to fulfil my needs with the teachers I want as quickly as possible.
I particularly like the electronic spread sheet that shows the bookings for the following week so that I can check what is booked and what I need to add.

Supply coordinator of a Newport primary

I have been working alongside New Directions since January of this year. My contacts are Dominic and Shannon, both of whom are very approachable, helpful and react quickly to all requests. Communication is well managed and I always find them both very reliable in meeting our needs.

The reliability and good communication is definitely the highlight of working with New Directions.

Secretary, Newport Primary school

I have worked for New Directions for 3 years. My accounts managers are great at communicating with placements and queries. Mari, Louise and Shannon have all been friendly and approachable.

Highlight of working with New Directions: Having the flexibility to work when and where you want.

Would recommend New Directions? : Yes

Supply teacher Newport

Shannon has only been my account manager for a short period but during this time I have found her extremely pleasant to communicate with. Shannon very quickly picked up my school preferences, preferred age groups and desired working routine.

The team at new Directions are always quick to respond to any queries I may have and to resolve any problems.

After a 39 year full time teaching career in two schools, I have greatly enjoyed the variety of schools that I have worked in.

I have met up with many ex colleagues and also former pupils who are now parents themselves. Having expressed an interest, New Directions found me a placement in the same reception class I started in many years ago, I was so excited!

Newport primary teacher

I have been working as a teacher for New Directions for more than 5 years. My account manager Shannon communicates to me via text messages, email as well as phone calls on a regular basis. I am given the type of work I want, in particular schools and key stages, and the amount of work I require. Shannon has a good relationship with me knowing my preferences etc.

The highlight of working with New Directions is that they know my strengths but they also give me opportunities to work in other areas that I don’t get the chance to often work in, such as a nursery setting.

Having been associated with them since qualifying speaks volumes. I have been with other teaching agencies but have found New Directions to be much more professional on many levels including finding good quality work on a regular basis and the friendliness of the staff that deal with me. I would highly recommend New Directions.

Gary, Newport primary supply teacher

This is my fourth year working with New Directions. I have always been placed in schools when I am available and free to work. I have always been given work in the foundation phase, which I enjoy working with as it makes it a comfortable working environment. I did try key stage 2 and I did not enjoy it so my account manager always ensures I am in key stage 1 classes.

I love going to different schools and working in different classes as I enjoy the challenges. Even when I teach key stage 2, I manage the class and complete the work the teacher sets which always makes me feel good as a teacher as I have assisted the children to learn.

Overall, New directions always offer me work, they ensure I am given work when I’m available and are very friendly. I hope to continue work with New Directions and continue being given work when I am available and require it.

Ambreen, Newport supply teacher

I am very happy with my relationship with Daniel, my Account Manager, as he is professional and very approachable. As my designated point of contact, he contacts me on a regular basis regarding work and I have a great deal of confidence in him. One of the highlights of working with New Directions is the frequency of work in a regualr pool of schools, this allowing me to thoroughly enjoy my work. My overall experience of working for New Directions for the past 2 years has been a very positive one, which I hope will continue long in to future.

Hannah, Supply Teacher

I have been working for New Directions Education for 2 years and my point of contact Gemma has been fantastic from day one. I have always been able to contact her either through phone, email or text. She always makes sure that we are up to date with each other about my availability and school placements.

New directions processes also makes everything easy. When you are busy working you don’t want to have to think about getting time sheets in for pay and New Directions online platform makes time sheets and pay really simple. It is also great to be able to update your calendar with your availability and complete any relevant training online too.

I recommend New Directions to anyone.

Victoria, Primary Teacher, Blackwood

Since going back into supply teaching my consultant, Shannon, is helpful in trying to find me supply relevant to my experience.

The highlight of working for New Directions is that it allows me to create a work relationship that is productive for all the recipients.

I would highly recommend teachers sign with New Directions.

Luliana, Supply Teacher, Newport

I have worked for New Direction Education for over two years. During this time they have provided me with plenty of supply Teaching Assistant positions, whilst taking in to consideration my needs, along with the needs of each of the schools. I find them both helpful and professional and would not hesitate in recommending them to other prospective candidates.

Margaret, Learning Support Assistant

I have been working for New Directions as a Supply Teaching Assistant for the past 6 months. Jennifer and her team have been fantastic in getting me long term work that’s right for me. I have worked in fantastic schools across Cardiff and gained so much knowledge and experience in Education thanks to Jennifer. I would recommend New Directions to anyone who wants to progress their career in education, enjoy the benefits of their fantastic pay rates and holiday schemes, as well as work for a company who works closely with you and helps and supports every day.

Mark, L3 Teaching Assistant

New Directions are very helpful and flexible, they provide me jobs within the hours I’m available. I have also completed courses through them – ND supports me when I need it. There is always someone available to help. I’m proud to work with them.

Khaleda (Liza) – Learning Support Assistant

I am a qualified TA and have been working for New Directions more than two years, both on long term and on a day to day basis. My manager at New Directions is approachable at all times, supports me and offers me placements at schools taking into account my training experience and preference. All team members at New Directions are very helpful, understandable and encourage me to do training courses offered by them.

The online section is one of the best amongst similar organisations, which enables me to update my availability at any time, confirm my time sheets and review my account.

I am very pleased to work for them and would recommend to anyone.

Nagammai, Teaching Assistant

I haven’t been with New Directions for long. Since being with them I have been very fortunate in receiving long term placements.

Chloe, Learning Support Assistant

Since joining New Direction they have been very helpful.

They have given me work every day that I have been with them and feel they can’t do enough for me.

Jason, Learning Support Assistant

I have been working for New Directions since September 2015 and my consultant Gemma has been fab! She has a high level of communication, is always reliable and friendly, and open yet professional – we speak regularly via phone and email to keep each other updated.

Since I joined New Directions, Gemma has arranged regular work and even interviews for me, which has been amazing, but she also phones after I’ve been to new schools to see what I though how I got on, which adds a personal touch. I have been able to visit lots of different schools, and thanks to Gemma, I have been back to some of the ones I enjoyed most.

I would defintiely recommend New Directions to other teachers.

Jo, Primary Teacher in Cwmbran

Since I signed with New Directions in September all of my experiences with my account manager, Shannon, have been very positive and friendly. Whenever I have a query Shannon gets back to me in a timely manner and is very helpful.

I have been very fortunate to have the pleasure of working for New Directions as this has broadened my horizons and offered me the opportunity to experience a wealth of different schools in my locality. But most of all I appreciate the friendly and personal relationship that I have developed with my account manager.
I have even been given a long term placement at a great school in Newport that will commence in the New year, because of the relationship I’ve developed with the staff and pupils during supply days.

Siobhan, Newport supply Teacher

New Directions has changed my career for sure and I owe them. I have been registered since 2013 and while the other agencies put up barriers for me to register, New Directions drove my registration process forward and I’ve received fair calls every week last year and I was satisfied. I’d like to mention Jessica (education) who was always available and she offered me a position in College. Then I got the College job again for the whole academic year through Jen. I’m hoping to get the permanent job in the same position soon.

Kiana, Learning Support Assistant

I have worked for New Directions Special Educational Needs for two years, I did resign back in July but that changed I had a new consultant Jennifer who has been fantastic and totally understood that I did not want long-term full time, only part-time and flexible, as I help out with grandchildren but enjoy working. I can recommend New Directions based on my personal experience they will listen to what you want to work and find work that you require for your personal preferences.

Jackie, Learning Support Assistant

When I first moved to the area, I was wanting to find a position as a teaching assistant within a school in Cardiff. New Directions offered a straightforward, helpful and friendly service to get me where I wanted to be. The training opportunities offered have been excellent and the account managers are a really helpful and approachable team. Willing to help however they can to get me into schools, where I can be of most help.

The diverse range of positions available in Cardiff have been made accessible through New Directions, and it’s nice to be able to arrive at a school knowing that the reputation of the company I work for is a very good introduction. I’d recommend New Direction to anyone wanting to work in schools, as they offer support, access and training for those with the commitment and drive to enter this interesting and challenging line of work.

Frances, Teaching Assistant

I joined New Directions two years ago, along with two other Recruitment Agencies but chose to work with another agency as I preferred their communication style. However I chose to work primarily with New Directions six months ago as I appreciated Sian, my Account Managers communication style. She is flexible and takes account of individual preferences. I felt comfortable answering her calls secure in the knowledge that I would be offered work that suited my personal circumstances. She is consistently approachable and friendly. My highlight working for New Directions has been gaining experience in schools that interested me I would certainly be recommending my friends to swap to new directions!

Annest – Cover Supervisor and LSA – Cardiff

Sian is a very friendly and approachable person. Any problem I have she sorts it out without any trouble. I look forward to working with New Directions in the new year.

Gillian – HLTA Welsh Medium Schools – Pontyrpidd

I am an NQT and have been working for New Directions for just under a year. After I graduated I needed to gain experience in as many schools as possible. New Directions have helped me get my foot in the door and I’m now requested at my favourite schools. Communication is very frequent between New Directions and myself. They are very friendly and easy to talk to about any issues.

My account manager is always in contact to check everything is ok and to give me more work in my preferred schools. The highlight of working with New Directions is the friendly staff and secondly, is the online portal because I can easily access and change my availability myself with no hassle.

I am very happy to be working with New Directions and would recommend New Directions to other Newly Qualified Teachers for the above reasons and for their high pay rate and holiday pay scheme.

Rachel, NQT Newport

Since I moved from back from Canada to Caerleon I have been working for New Directions. Shannon is my point of contact and has been nothing but accommodating since I started in September 2015. She is attentive and frequently phones or messages regarding constant work. She is able to cater to my needs with regards to placing me in schools that I have really enjoyed being in. She also phones ahead of time, which allows me to sort out my mode of transportation for the next day or week.

A highlight of being a teacher for New Directions has been being considered for the Guaranteed Payment scheme, which gives me constant work enabling me to have a great pay check at the end of the week. Secondly, Shannon gives me local work that is in Newport only. I really enjoy working closer to home as I do not have a car and I want to get to know the children and impact my local community. I also like the fact that Shannon goes out of her way to ask if I enjoyed my time in schools and wishes me well.

I recommend teachers in the Newport area sign up with New Directions as the staff are nice and accommodating, and most importantly they provide lots of work for supply teachers.

Ashleigh, Supply teacher in Caerleon

My name is Laura and I have been working for New Directions as a supply teacher for 2 years. My previous point of contact, Mari, knew me well and would find and accept long term work for me. Shannon is my new point of contact and is also easy to contact and has been very reliable in placing me in work and understanding when my circumstances have changed.

The best thing about working with this company is the respect they have for working relationships. If a school is a good fit they will aim for consistency and try to send you back for more work. This is both great for myself and the pupils.

I suggest that all teachers looking for a school to be frequently placed in should sign up with New Directions.

Laura, Supply teacher in Newport

I have always been offered regular work. I have found staff to be friendly and efficient.

Highlight of working with New Directions: Weekly pay and regular work.

I have been registered with New Directions now for some 5 years or so since I qualified from college and during this time I have found the service provided by the company faultless.

The staff are always very cheerful and extremely helpful.

The Online service New Directions provides to employees is very easy to use and offers access to all areas on a 24 hour basis. I can control and confirm my availability on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, book holidays, check and confirm work carried out on my timesheet each week, print my payslips and P60’s for my own personal records and much more.

I have been able to complete training online and also attend training courses free of charge to help with my work commitments.

Thanks to New Directions I have have work experience in a vast variety of areas which is very enjoyable and rewarding.

I have found the flexibility that New Directions offers of being able to work when I wish suits my current lifestyle and I am provided with sufficient work.

I would not hesitate to recommend the company.

Diane, Supply Staff

New Directions has always given me great support, service and encouragement. They are very understanding and it’s like having a friend at the end of the phone. I would recommend them to anyone.

Elizabeth, Supply Staff

New Directions visited Barry College while I was finishing my LSA 2 course and introduced me to another way of getting back into work, gain more experience and earn money. Joining was thorough and easy.  Within the second week of the schools starting back after the holidays work started coming in.  New directions are constantly keeping in touch with me.  I find working in different schools helps you stay interested and never becomes dull.

Anne-Marie, Supply Staff

My account manager is the easiest person to talk to. She will take the time to call me rather than just send an email. I know she is only a phone call away if I have any concerns. I appreciate her passing on the positive assessments I receive from the headteacher of my current placement. Thank you Jennifer!

The biggest highlight has been being placed on my current school placement. I feel I was matched with the staff and feel very welcome every day. Thank you New Directions.

I am so glad I joined this agency, I am working in my dream job and they have given me so many opportunities to increase my education and skills with the training courses they provide. I would and have recommended them to friends.

Claire, Learning Support Assistant

Claire, Learning Support Assistant

I’ve been working as a level 3 Teaching Assistant for about 2 years now and in that time have worked for three different Cardiff based agencies overlapping. New Directions Education, being by far the best one to work for as they seem to be the busiest. They frequently find work in my local area and regularly offer me long term contract opportunities further afield. They have recently managed to agree a long term contract in a local school for hours that suit me perfectly. I frequently chat with my consultant, Laura and find her very professional and approachable, she’s always appreciated honest feed back and has worked hard to get me work around my availability. I enjoy working for New Directions Education and hope to continue.

Susan, Learning Support Assistant, Caerphilly

I have been working with New Directions for many years now, the last two years I have been working directly with Laura, and she has been fantastic.

Laura is a very approachable person and any questions I may have I do not hesitate to ask her, as I know she will respond to them the best she can. Laura has found me long term work and this is the second year I have been working in the same school. Even though I have long term work, Laura will still contact me regularly just to check if everything is going well. She will provide any important information that I need to be aware of, as soon as she can let me know, by call, text, voicemail, e-mail.

Before I had a long term placement in a school, Laura did her best to find me work and has never failed even in the quieter periods. She is an overall lovely, caring, professional person who I take great pleasure in working with and I know at any point if I have any issues I know I could always give her a ring.

My Highlight of working with New Directions is that since the moment I signed up with them, I have never failed to have work. They are an extremely reliable company to work for and would recommend them to everybody! I have a fantastic relationship with the New Directions team and also the many schools I have worked in! Many thanks to Laura and the rest of the New Directions staff for the amazing opportunities and experiences you have given me so far and hopefully there will be many more to come in the future!

Sarah, Learning Support Assistant, Caerphilly

My name is Colin, I started working for New Directions in February 2015. I was interviewed by my Account Manager who took me step by step through the process of joining the company. I was very nervous for my initial position as a Caretaker but my Account Manager always reassured me through text/emails and phone calls, which is part of the reason I have continued my current employment with the company. I have always found her to be Courteous and very professional. I am registered with two other agencies in Cardiff but I would recommend anyone to work for New Directions because in my opinion they are clearly the preferred agency from my experience.

Colin, Caretaker

New Directions have always matched me with the schools I felt I could work comfortably. Nearly from the beginning the agency have offered me long term positions, what was and still is very suitable for me.

Also, only after a year of working experience with them I was offered (via ND) a permanent position in one of the primary schools in the after school club where I work with children on art & crafts activities, something I really truly enjoy.

I highly recommend the agency to anyone who intends to build up a career in the education sector and am very grateful for all efforts and friendly service.

Sylwia, Supply Staff

I have been working for New Directions 3 days a week for the past 3 years. I always find it easy to get hold of my point of contact, Shannon, and communicate with her frequently. She contacts me frequently throughout the week with offers of work and often enquires if everything is going ok.

She is friendly and approachable and explains everything well so that if an issue arises, I feel happy to contact her. She also places me in schools that are local to me which is great!

My highlight of working for New Directions is being able to experience a diverse range of schools and building up a relationship with a class if I work in a school for a few days.

I like being able to use a website which has my own account so I can confirm my timesheets, check pay slips etc. I recommend teachers in South Wales use New Directions for local placements in Newport.

Cathy, Newport supply teacher

Jen is fabulous and always quick to respond to any queries. I am always informed about any changes to bookings and can rely on the fact that any problems will be solved as soon as possible.

I have had continuous work since working with New Directions.

I find that the company will do what they can to help keep you in work. As I finished one long term placement I had another ready to start straight after the summer.

Would recommend New Directions? : Yes

Nicola, Learning Support Assistant

Nicola, Learning Support Assistant

New Directions are my preferred agency to work for as they have provided me with a lot of work over the past two years. They often try and place me in schools that I have told them I am comfortable in and allow me to be flexible.
My account managers Shannon and Gemma, have been a pleasure to work with as they are always friendly, respectful and understanding.

Paul, Supply teacher Newport

I have recently signed up with New Directions and have enjoyed most of the placements I have been assigned. Some schools have requested me to go back which makes me feel I’ve achieved a good rapport. Some cancellations have occurred but they have been addressed by Shannon my account manager who always tries to replace any shifts that schools may have cancelled at the last minute.

New directions have always found me a KS1 class to cover on the three days I am free to work. Shannon always places me in schools of my choice and in classes were they benefit from my skills.

Janet, supply teacher Newport

I have worked for New directions for nearly a year. I have a very friendly and open relationship with my account manager Shannon. She listens to my needs as a part time supply teacher and accommodates me whenever she can.

I most enjoy the flexibility of working for New Directions, allowing me to pick and chose my placements and working days. Work is always available and I can fit it around my needs without feeling pressured. I would recommend teachers to register with New Directions, especially if you live in the Newport area.

Overall, I never thought I’d enjoy supply teaching but I’ve enjoyed almost all my placements. Many thanks to New Directions for the opportunities and experiences.

Sarah, Supply Teacher in Newport

I qualified as a teacher in July and immediately registered with New Directions. Words cannot explain how much I enjoy working with New Directions. They are reliable and always ready with work for me to attend to.
Being an NQT, starting my career as a teacher has been somewhat overwhelming but the staff at New Directions have always been there ready to support me and advise me on my next move.
My favourite aspect of working with New Directions, is the way I am treated as an individual. The communication between my agent and I has always been hassle free and I have always felt comfortable and valued when speaking to her.
I recommend all NQT teachers in Newport to contact Shannon and sign up with New Directions.

To summarize, New Directions is a Fantastic agency with amazing staff. I look forward to continuing the relationship I have with the staff at New Directions and with the pupils of the schools I attend.

Emma, NQT Teacher in Newport

All Staff are friendly and do their utmost to help you with your needs or help you find your perfect job.

I’m always informed with any training courses.

Highlight of working with New Directions: working in a job I love and with people who great.

Would recommend New Directions? : Yes

Additional comments about New Directions:

Jen and Jess are both fab and always at hand to help you when ever needed.

Lucina – Testimonial

I feel that my relationship with everyone at New Directions is great. I know I can always call them if I need anything, but I prefer email usually. They always email me back as soon as possible with any inquiries or other needs I may have. They try their best to get me as much work as possible in the areas of teaching I prefer to work in. They really good to work with. I am so lucky to work with them and New Directions.

Highlight of working with New Directions: I have loved working with New Directions more than any other agency because they do get me work as much as they can. Other agencies say they could get me work, but did they ever…no! New Directions understand I can only work in certain areas of Cardiff because I don’t have a car of my own so getting to certain schools would not be possible. So they get me as much work as possible close to where I live which I am grateful for. Also New Directions know that I prefer I to work with a certain age group so they try their best to get me work in that age group. I am lucky that I get as much work as possible working for New Directions. By far they are the best Agency I have worked for in the Cardiff area.

Amy – Testimonial

After completing my PGCE, I joined New Directions in September. I have so far had a brilliant experience on supply and would recommended anyone to register to New Directions, especially graduates. Supply for me has been a great way to build experience in a variety of settings and year groups.

New Directions have been very friendly and helpful, providing mostly pre booked work as well as bookings for nearly all my available days.

Primary Teacher – Working in the Vale of Glamorgan

I am due to start my third year of working for New Directions. Having worked for other agencies based in South Wales, I have found New Directions to be the most flexible and accommodating and reliable for finding me work. So much so that I have recommended it to several friends and colleagues. At least one of whom is now registered.

My account manager Annie is quite frankly superb. She is aware of my unusual availability and yet is still available to find me bookings in the type of school I am best suited and at a very competitive rate. She is very friendly, yet professional. Emails are always replied to promptly and queries dealt with.

On the one occasion where there was a miscommunication by a school, Annie found a quick and fair solution. I feel she represents the interests of the teacher well and understands the workings of schools. I am always surprised how much knowledge she has about individual schools. Not just the geography but timings, people and whether a teacher is suited to it. I really do enjoy our chats on the phone with talk of holidays, school concerts, West Wales, putting the world to rights and of course organising any bookings too!
Annie has gone the extra mile to ensure that my long term booking is renewed and she even renegotiated my rate, something which I hadn’t expected. Thank you.
I stay with New Directions for a number of reasons. Firstly, staffs are always able to deal with queries quickly and efficiently. I never having to chase work, it’s available when I need it.
The ease of checking timesheets, booking holiday and automatic calculations of mileage online makes things easy. I especially like how I can access payslips and my P60 online. The rules for usage of holiday and filling availability are simple.
The variety of schools used and the type of work available suits my needs. It is not assumed that you wish to work in your local area. I am not always able to take the morning phone call and my account manager always accommodates this.
Because of these and the fact that simply the vibe is calm and organised I will continue to work for New Directions.

Primary Teacher – working in Bridgend

I am currently working for New Directions covering a maternity leave at a Primary school in Cardiff which I started in May 2015. I first met my Account Manager when I was contacted about a long term position. I came into the office to provide my identification documents, and was in the booking within a week.

She has always been really polite, professional and friendly, and I have always felt that I could contact her to ask anything, she never has made me feel like I am a nuisance, or that she is pushed for time. My Account Manager has continuously kept in contact with me throughout my placement and reminded me of any changes or information that I need.

I have also found New Directions on the whole, to be very professional, and a good employer to work for. The time sheets are easy to complete, and I have never had any problems with my pay.

Katey, School Secretary

All in all I feel privileged to be a caretaker working for New Directions. I have been working for them for just under 1 year. The highlight for me is the varied work placements and the excitement of new challenges. Since starting I have rarely been out of work. My Account Manager is constantly in contact with me and is aware when a booking is due to end, so she usually has something for me to go straight into. I speak to my Account Manager weekly whether it be to organise a new placement or to have a chat to make sure everything is good. I feel confident that I can call her should any problems arise and that a solution will be found as little delay as possible. The nicest thing about working for my Account Manager is that she is not only interested in work based problems, but I know that if I have a personal issue or if i just want to have a chat with her she is always happy to listen. She is interested in my life and my interests, I am not just another candidate to her. I would recommend anybody working for New Directions and with my Account Manager.

Gethyn, School Caretaker

I have been working with New Directions for nearly a year after deciding to do supply work as a means to earn some extra money after I left my permanent job. In that time my Account Manager and the team have been very helpful and informative. I have had plenty of work, and I have regular phone calls checking up on me whilst I am in my long term positions. I would have no hesitation in recommending New Directions to anybody if they are looking for work.

Viv, School Caretaker

I have been working with New Directions as a school caretaker since 2012. During this time I have constantly been kept in work, mainly in long term positions. My Account Manager is great, always very helpful and clear with her messages. She is always keeping me up to date and lets me know of any work or changes in plenty of time. She is always trying to accommodate me and my needs, and is fair with her pay if I am flexible. She is really nice, easy to understand and is patient explaining and repeating things if i need clarification.

Brian, School Caretaker

When I left full-time teaching my friend encouraged me to join an agency, as she had done, as I still felt that I had something to offer to education.
I had no knowledge of how an agency worked, but from day one New Directions have supported me and have helped to give me back the “buzz” I always had from teaching but which I had lost.

I always feel that I can be completely open and honest and that my opinions and wishes will be listened to, are appreciated and used sensitively.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with my Account Manager. Since I joined New Directions, communication with her is always professional and she is able to balance my needs with the needs of the school. She always has time to talk to me and is able to help me with any question or problem I may have and resolve it quickly.

The highlight of working with New Directions is the fact that my point of contact has quickly understood exactly what I want from the supply teaching and has made every effort to send me to schools which she thinks I will like. I have felt “looked after” and valued…Long may it continue.

Jill, Primary Teacher, Monmouthshire

I have worked for New Directions for 2 years. I feel the highlights of working with New Directions are fairness, reliability and being treated as a valued individual. My Account Manager is just great, she listens carefully to my personal needs and circumstances and implements what works for me and the client. I feel listened to and unpressurised, with good communication. I enjoy working for ND, as I get treated well and I enjoy suitable, regular placements. I would definitely recommend New Directions.

Wieke Martin, Primary School Teacher, Herefordshire

I have been working for New Directions for 21 months and Rachel has been my Account Manager. She is always pleasant, helpful, and courteous. I have been practically fully employed since working for New Directions and Rachel’s very communicative when sending me to a new role.

I have encountered a few problems along the way and Rachel has been very supportive and we have an excellent working relationship. I cannot recommend her highly enough and know I can rely on her to find me employment which fits in with my lifestyle as I am a single Mum with a teenager at home.

Linda, Administrator, Rhoose

I am happy with the level of service and the immense support received from Rachel. This means she cares for her employee’s professional needs in the work place and also she enquires candidates constantly to ensure that everything goes well according to New Directions and the schools guidelines.

Estelina, Cardiff, Fairwater High School

I have been working as a caretaker for New Directions since November 2014. As soon as all the necessary checks were clear, Rachel from New Directions was able to find me adequate work the very next day! I have always found New Directions very helpful and approachable, with pay always accurate and on time. I therefore would like to thank New Directions and in particular Rachel for their help in getting me back into employment and look forward to working with them throughout 2015.

Philip, Caretaker, Aberdare

James keeps me up-to-date with everything I need to know on a regular basis and is always friendly, open and clear. Also, whenever I have any questions or difficulties, I know that consistent and reliable help is only a phone call away. This is also true whenever James is unavailable and I talk to Mari or Rhian.

It is very reassuring to know that I am valued as a candidate and that this translates into a steady stream of regular work. And that is quite aside from the quality of experiences I have had in all of the schools I have been sent to.

Whenever I cross paths with any other supply teachers who aren’t already with New Directions I always try to persuade them to join them. I wouldn’t do that if I didn’t believe in the quality of the service you provide.

I would recommend New Directions to other teachers.

John, Primary Teacher, RCT

I have worked for New Directions since September 2014 and have regular contact with my account manager Rachel who is professional and friendly. Any queries or changes to my time sheet are dealt with promptly and the text reminder to submit your time sheet is very useful. Their website is easy to navigate and clearly displays time sheets and payslips, and now online courses are available. Rachel deals with lots of candidates, yet she always treats me as an individual rather than a just another candidate.

Rosemary, Administrator, St Fagans

Rachel has been an excellent agent so far. She keeps in good contact with myself and although I am currently on a long term placement if anything comes up that she thinks I may be interested in she lets me know. She is readily available to speak to and always gets back to me if I leave a message for her.

Karla, Administrator, Barry

The service and support I have received from Rachel since she took over as my Manager/Supervisor has been outstanding. Rachel is very approachable and supportive and I always feel extremely comfortable in contacting her with any issues or problems I have had, and always found these to be resolved to my satisfaction.

Alison Sheppard, Administrator, RCT

I have been working with New Directions for over 5 years, my account manager is Gemma, she is fantastic. Gemma has always found me 5 days work a week and has followed through on her promise to find me long term work on several occasions. Communication is excellent I really couldn’t ask for anything better.

I enjoy working with New Directions because of their friendly staff who are willing to listen and understand problems when they arise. During money worries Gemma has always put my mind at ease and got me through the bad times.

I would recommend New Directions as they are a fantastic company to work for. I have already recommended my brother to work for you and have also recommended several other people.

Sarah, Primary Teacher, Caerphilly

I have been working as a Primary teacher for 1-3 years, I have dealt with both Mari and Louise, while Mari was on maternity leave and always found both to be extremely helpful and friendly. They were both able to answer any questions I had and were always and encouragement and support. They have both been reliable and I have always been well informed of my jobs/roles.
My highlight while working at new Directions was being placed at Pillgwenlly Primary, which was the start of me getting my teaching career back. It has been great working for New Directions and I am very grateful for all the hard work Mari and Louise put in for me in order for me to find a permanent teaching post.

Emma, Primary Teacher, Newport

I have worked for New Directions for around a year as a Newly Qualified Teacher. I have found them to be very supportive, professional and they have a clear understanding of my requirements. I have had regular, daily, contact with Mari and she was always a friendly voice on the phone if I needed to speak to her. I have been really pleased with the amount of work I was given. My highlight of working with New Direction was getting a full time job after being given supply work for the school.
As an NQT it was very daunting going into supply teaching, but Mari was very supportive and gave me the confidence that I was doing OK. The NQT event was really good too. I would definitely recommend new Directions to other NQTs. Also the administration side was great – website very easy to use and update time sheets. The availability page was very useful to keep track of my diary.

Debbie, Newly Qualifed Primary Teacher, Newport

I have worked for New Directions on and off since 2013 and I’m constantly busy with work.

My Account Manager Gemma is a very friendly consultant, going out of her way to help you. She’s very approachable and every time I speak to her she gives me information about the school and has a conversation with me about expectations.

I also think that New Directions Holiday Pay is a great idea as it’s a great savings plan.

Charlotte, Primary Teacher, Caerphilly

Gemma, my Account Manager is professional and always asks how my day has been, if I don’t enjoy a day in a school she will listen to my concerns and will not put me back somewhere I’m not happy. She is always available when I try to contact her and is always friendly and helpful.

I would recommend New Directions.

Annie, Primary Teacher, Caerphilly

I have been wroking for New Directions since September 2014. The company has been very supportive of me as an NQT, understanding any worries I have had, giving me as much pre-booked work as possible and making sure I stay in my preferred age phase. I have had a good amount of work, and would have been able to have had more if I had been available every day.

My account manager Gemma is lovely. She is always cheerful, easy to talk to and responds when I contact her. She takes note of feedback I give and tries to place me in places I like as well as passing on feedback to me from school which has really boosted my confidence. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help me through the NQT year.

Would I recommend New Directions? Yes!

Beccy, Primary Teacher, Torfaen

New Directions were always very helpful, no matter who I spoke to. If I was unable to contact the person needed, then the operator would always leave a message and they would get back to me as soon as possible. I was regularly contacted by them in terms of work and if I was in a long term supply post, they would ‘check in’
regularly to ensure that everything was going well, and if any future supply openings became available.

New Directions would alway place me in schools for periods of time, usually longer than a few days. Through New Directions, I was able to be placed in a school for several months. When this came to an end, they quickly found further posts for me to fill for set periods of time.

Would recommend New Directions? : Yes

Apart from the very first month of supply (which is to be expected) New Directions always offered work for me and on a regular basis. I very rarely had no work and if I did it would be only for one or two days. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to work on a supply basis, and that they are always so helpful and keep you in mind, ensuring that you have as much work as is possible. I am very grateful for the support that I have had from New Directions and from Mari Lewis, who was my regular point of contact.

Robert, Primary Teacher, Newport

My Account Manager is polite, helpful, friendly and professional at all times. While on my last long term placement she kept me up to date with any changes keeping in contact with me once a week to check on me and to give feedback, which is essential. I have found her to be reliable about calling back and finding information I have asked for. She is very positive and personable, able to understand my circumstances and job requirements.

My highlight of working with New Directions Education is receiving feedback from my consultant. This does not happened with any other agency I have worked for. I also like the first class communication between different members of the team. Whoever you speak to, knows your details, history and job requirements. Ease of filling in timesheets is great too.I am very impressed with the amount of work available and the flexibility with which I can work. Compliance procedures and holiday pay are easy to understand and queries are dealt with efficiently and professionally.

Supply Teacher, Cardiff
