New Directions Education are recruiting for a primary based 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work across a network of schools in the Flintshire area.
This role will give provide exposure in supporting pupils in the mainstream classroom with Learning Disabilities and additional needs such as Autism, MLD, ADHD and other learning difficulties. Main responsibilities will include supporting 1:1 and small groups, monitoring behaviour and working in conjunction with Classroom Teacher and assisting with literacy and numeracy sessions. You will also be involved in setting up equipment, preparing materials for lessons and the recording of their achievement and progress.
