Job Description

New Directions are looking for teachers of French to help cover a variety of roles within schools in the Shropshire area. As a leading supplier of staff to local schools the successful candidate(s) would be considered for full or part-time, long or short-term assignments depending on individual preferences.

French is an area where we are currently low on numbers meaning the successful candidates would be prioritised for any roles which became available.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt their approach to individual schools needs. You will have a passion for teaching French and an in-depth knowledge of the curriculum and different examining board requirements. The ability to teach up to Key Stage 5 is an advantage but not essential as is the ability to drive and access to your own transport.

The successful candidate will also need a professional approach, strong behavioural management and the ability to build a rapport with colleagues and pupils alike.

Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply for this role.
