New Directions Education are extremely busy, and we are looking to increase our bank of Teaching Assistants specifically in the Additional Learning Needs sector. The work available is on a full or part time basis, and you are able to manage your own diary dependent on your availability. You are also able to state areas that you are willing to travel to, and preferred age groups to work with.
Main responsibilities will include supporting Additional Learning Needs students in general classroom settings, 1:1 support work external from the classroom, monitoring behavior and working in conjunction with classroom teacher and assisting with literacy and numeracy sessions. You will also be involved in setting up equipment, preparing materials for lessons and the recording of pupils achievements and progress.
