Job Description

New Directions are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for a primary school in the Bridgend area.

We are specifically looking for a Level 3 or above to work with a class of children comprised of 8 pupils with additional learning needs, predominantly autism.

The successful candidate will be required to work with pupils on a one to one basis and also work with small groups of children. Experience working in a setting similar to this is crucial for the job role. The hours required to work are Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm.

The school in question has on site parking and is accessible via public transport.

• Ideally experience working in an ALN environment or from a care background
• An excellent track record
• Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term.
