New Directions Education are working with many additional learning needs specialist schools in the Rhondda Cynon Taf area. We are seeking teachers that are confident in taking control of an ALN class and delivering the best lesson plans for primary ages. Our schools offer great support networks for supply teachers so the ability to work as a team is essential.
In most cases the class teacher will be expected to organise teaching assistant staff within lessons to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for pupils. All school staff are dedicated to creating an interactive, safe learning environment for pupils with all needs.
The ability to be adaptable and think on your feet is essential as the school day can be unpredictable. Applicants must have great communication skills to work with parents, colleagues and pupils to raise standards of development. Our schools have positive working environments and are interested in building relationships that would continue for any future supply needs.
A large number of our jobs are within the ALN sector. We fill many vacancies in schools with candidates who have the right experience and qualifications.
