Mae New Directions yn chwilio am Athrawon i ddysgu mewn nifer o Ysgolion Cynradd ar draws Conwy. Croesawir ymgeiswyr sy’n arbenigo mewn unrhyw gyfnod allweddol.

Mae disgwyl i’r ymgeisydd llwyddiannus fod yn berson gweithgar, hyblyg a phroffesiynol a bod yn angerddol tuag at ddarparu addysg o safon uchel i blant y cyfnod cynradd.

Mae’r swydd hon yn agored i athrawon sydd newydd gymhwyso yn ogystal ag athrawon sydd yn fwy profiadol.

Mae gofyn i bob un o’r ymgeiswyr:

Gwblhau ‘DBS’ (CRB gynt)

  • Fod yn gymwys fel athro neu athrawes
  • Fod wedi cofrestru gyda’ ‘EWC’

    Fel asiantaeth cyflenwi flaenllaw ym maes addysg, mae New Directions yn recriwtio Athrawon Cynradd ar gyfer swyddi yng Nghyfnod Sylfaen y Blynyddoedd Cynnar, Cyfnod Allweddol 1 (CA1) a Chyfnod Allweddol 2 (CA2)

    Rôl Swydd Athro Cynradd

    Bydd eich rôl fel Athro Cynradd yng ngrŵp oedran eich arbenigedd yn amrywiol ac weithiau’n heriol. Fodd bynnag, byddai’n anodd iawn i chi ddod o hyd i yrfa sy’n rhoi cymaint o foddhad lle mai eich prif amcanion fydd datblygu’r plant a’u paratoi ar gyfer y cam nesaf.

    Mae New Directions yn croesawu Athrawon Newydd Gymhwyso.

    Ffeithiau Cyflym:

    Roedd contract athro cyflenwi gan 10% o athrawon newydd gymhwyso a gafodd eu hyfforddi i addysgu mewn ysgolion cynradd, o gymharu â 6% o athrawon newydd gymhwyso a gafodd eu hyfforddi i addysgu mewn ysgolion uwchradd.

  • Nododd 25% o athrawon newydd gymhwyso a gafodd eu hyfforddi i addysgu mewn ysgolion cynradd eu bod wedi’u cyflogi yn un o’r ysgolion lle cawsant eu hyfforddiant o gymharu â 32% o athrawon newydd gymhwyso a gafodd eu hyfforddi i addysgu mewn ysgolion uwchradd.
    ododd 18% o athrawon newydd gymhwyso a gafodd eu hyfforddi i addysgu mewn ysgolion cynradd eu bod wedi adleoli er mwyn ymgymryd â’u swydd addysgu bresennol o gymharu â 24% o athrawon newydd gymhwyso a gafodd eu hyfforddi i addysgu mewn ysgolion uwchradd.

    Addysgu pob maes o gwricwlwm yr ysgol neu eich arbenigedd pwnc;
    Trefnu’r ystafell ddosbarth a’r adnoddau dysgu i greu amgylchedd addysgu cadarnhaol;
    Cynllunio, paratoi ac addysgu gwersi sy’n addas i fyfyrwyr o bob ystod gallu;
    Ysgogi disgyblion drwy ddull cyflwyno brwdfrydig, llawn dychymyg;
    Sicrhau disgyblaeth;
    Bodloni gofynion o ran asesu a chofnodi datblygiad disgyblion;

    Cydlynu gweithgareddau ac adnoddau o fewn maes penodol o’r cwricwlwm, gan helpu cydweithwyr i gyflwyno’r maes arbenigol hwn;

    Bod yn ymwybodol o’r newidiadau a’r datblygiadau diweddaraf yn strwythur y cwricwlwm;

    Cymryd rhan mewn digwyddiadau a gweithgareddau’r ysgol a allai gael eu cynnal dros y penwythnos neu gyda’r nos;

    Cysylltu â chydweithwyr a gweithio mewn ffordd hyblyg, yn arbennig mewn ysgolion llai o faint.

    Additional Information

    As a leading education supply agency, New Directions recruits primary teachers for jobs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), key stage 1 (KS1) and key stage 2 (KS2) primary teacher job role.

    Your role as a primary teacher in the age group of your speciality will be varied and at times challenging. However, we doubt you will find a more satisfying career where your main objectives will be to develop the children and prepare them for the next stage.

    Newly qualified teachers (NQT) are welcomed by New Directions.

    Typical duties of a Supply Primary Teacher

    • Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism;
    • Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment;
    • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges;
    • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;
    • Maintain discipline;
    • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development;
    • Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area;
    • Staying up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum;
    • Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening;
    • Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
