New Directions Education are recruiting for a Caretaker 25 hours per week.
We are work with a local primary school in the Runcorn area to find a suitable candidate to help in the day to day running of the school.
This role is only suitable for somebody that can split there day up as they need to open up the school in the morning and close the school up in the evening.
Looking after the maintenance of the school is also crucial in this role day to day tasks were obviously a professional is not required.
The school has a lovely atmosphere and this a lovely little role for somebody with the a good professional work ethic.
On sire parking and on a good public transport route.
Caretakers are responsible for looking after a school site including the buildings and grounds.
The duties of a school Caretaker include:
Caretakers must be honest, reliable and trustworthy. They must be able to work well on their own using their own initiative, as well as working within a larger team.
Candidates will ideally have previous caretaking experience; however New Directions will consider candidates who have a background in maintenance, decorating, facilities or security.
It’s mandatory that caretakers have a clear DBS either registered with the Update Service or a New Directions DBS.
