A primary school in West Kirby Wirral, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic assistant cook to work as part of our busy, friendly school kitchen. Our catering service is in-house, providing freshly cooked meals from scratch using locally sourced ingredients.
You will assist the cook in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals. Duties will include skilled cooking activities, stock control, stock taking and deliveries.
You will maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness which comply with legislation and in house procedures, under the supervision of the Kitchen Supervisor.
The weekly hours are 28 hours Monday-Friday (7:30am – 1.00pm)

This is a responsible role within the school, often being a key holder where you could be required to work split shifts, as well as responding to security alerts on the school’s premises.
