Our outstanding Secondary School in Liverpool is seeking a progressive and supportive English Teacher to join their dedicated team starting January covering Maternity. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic educator who is keen to inspire and engage students across KS3 to KS5. As a English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging lessons that inspire a love for the English language and culture. You will support students in developing their linguistic abilities, and help them improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Our school prides themselves on there inclusive staff and friendly environment.

As a English Teacher you’ll be expected to:

• Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Maintain discipline.
• Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
• Have a passion for teaching English
• To deliver religious education lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.

The Successful English Teacher must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience Of teaching English
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Able to provide Referees.
• An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Passionate about Education
