EYFS – Primary Teacher
Manchester
Full-Time (Maternity Cover – October-July 2025)

£600-£800 Per Week (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

New Directions is proud to be working with a primary school in Cheetham Hill that is looking for a EYFS Primary Teacher to cover a maternity leave. This role is to begin in November or sooner for the right EYFS Primary Teacher. This role is full-time and to work as part of the EYFS where the ideal Primary Teacher will work in partnership with other members of the EYFS Team to plan, assess and teach.

As a Primary Teacher you’ll be expected to:

  • Teach all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
  • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
  • Maintain discipline.
  • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupil’s development.
  • Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area.
  • Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
  • Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.

To apply the candidate must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • UK-based Experience
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Able to provide Referees.
  • An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
