New Directions are looking for an Information and Communications Technology Teacher for a role covering a long-term absence at a school in the Shrewsbury area.
The school are looking for a teacher who is devoted to creating engaging and creative lessons and who is driven to ensure that each pupil fulfils their potential in the subject. The successful applicant will need to be up-to-date with the latest developments in the sector, have a passion for the delivery of the subject and have the ability to quickly build a strong rapport with pupils.
The school are able to provide excellent facilities and support for the successful candidate. The school is well situated for access from throughout Shropshire and the Telford and Wrekin area
We recruit for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Teachers for posts across the UK. Successful candidates will hold qualified teacher status (QTS) and be happy to teach through the key stages from 3-5. Candidates who have many years experience in this subject area or who are newly qualified teacher (NQT) are welcome to register.
As an ICT Teacher you’ll be expected to:
Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
