New Directions are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work in an Additional Learning Needs school in the Powys area.
The successful candidate ill required to work full time, for 5 days per week on a long term basis. The school is comprised of pupils with additional learning needs, you will predominantly be dealing with pupils with emotional and behavioral difficulties/ physical and medical difficulties.
We really require a passionate Learning Support Assistant who will relish in seeing the learning journey of these children.
In order to undertake this role, it will be preferred for you to already have a child and adult DBS. If not, it is something we are able to arrange. This will be discussed at interview stage.

To work in an Additional Learning Needs (ALN) role you will need:
Ideally experience working in an ALN environment or from a care background
An excellent track record
Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term.
