You will be supporting the primary age range across various classes. The successful candidate will need to implement creative learning techniques to engage the pupil, who mainly needs support with literacy and numeracy. However, you will also be having to support pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
An important part of this role is to build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupils, who could potentially have low self-esteem and behaviour needs. The successful candidate will need to have a calm demeanour and be committed, as well as encouraging.
You will need:
A minimum of 3 months paid or 12 months voluntary child-based experience

A willingness to complete mandatory training when required
