Job Description

Are you a nurturing and dedicated Level 2 Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role working with 2-4-year-olds? A nursery in Birkenhead is seeking a passionate individual to join their team on a part-time basis starting in September, with the potential for a permanent position in the future.

Requirements:
– Level 2 qualification in childcare or equivalent
– Experience working with children aged 2-4 years old
– Passion for early childhood education and development
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
– Supporting the nursery staff in daily activities and routines
– Engaging and interacting with children through play and educational activities
– Assisting in the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
– Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children

  • Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
  • Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
