Position: Full-Time Level 2 Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Birkenhead
Contract: January 2025 until Summer 2025

Key Responsibilities:
– Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities for children in Foundation Stage 1

Requirements:
– Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
– Experience working with young children in an educational setting, preferably within the Foundation Stage

  • Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers

  • Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
  • Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
