Exciting Opportunity at a Primary School in Wallasey!

Are you a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young learners? A friendly primary school in Wallasey is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their Foundation 2 (F2) class starting ASAP until the February half term (2025). This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday.

– Location: Wallasey
– Start Date: ASAP until February half term
– Duration: Full-time, 5 days per week

Key Requirements:
– Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification – Essential

Role Responsibilities:
– Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
– Build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
– Assist with classroom management and student supervision

Teaching or classroom assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools.

We’ll also consider experienced learning support assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a secondary school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.

  • Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
  • Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
