As New Directions Education are the preferred supplier across Denbighshire, we are extremely busy with day to day and long term supply opportunities.
The work available is on both an ad-hoc and long term basis in Denbighshire Primary school (You can decide the number of hours you wish to work each work, whether that be 16 hours, full-time or otherwise; we will be able to accommodate).
Being the preferred supplier we are currently very busy servicing the Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools across the Denbighshire borough.
The positions vary both in terms of age ranges (nursery to Year 6) and in terms of your role, from general teaching assistant work to providing one to one support with additional learning needs.
You will need experience working/dealing with children inside and outside of the classroom.

As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
