New Directions Education are looking to recruit Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) to work in several primary Schools in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. There is currently a high demand of supply cover needed within this area due to many professional development courses being held for permanent teachers and some staff illnesses. In order to cover this significant requirement, New Directions are looking to recruit confident and flexible teachers who are able to teach Key stage one or Key Stage two.
Registering as a supply teacher allows you to choose how little or many days a week you desire to work. Whether you are a NQT, returning to the work force or an experienced teacher, your account manager can place you in primary schools that are close to where you reside. You can make yourself available on the New Directions online portal which our teachers agree is easy and efficient to navigate.
Day to day supply enables teachers to experience many different schools and classroom environments that assist them to make their own informed decisions and teaching pedagogies. Often teachers will be asked to return to do long term cover when staff has observed the teacher leaving a positive impact on the pupils.
As a New Directions teacher we expect that you will have good curriculum knowledge, can create impromptu lessons, follow lesson plans, are professional towards staff, students and parents, tidy the classroom and complete all marking.
