New Directions Education are seeking newly qualified teachers to work in schools across the Rhondda Cynon Taf borough. As the most popular agency in the area we have an increasing demand for enthusiastic, local teachers to cover both key stages and for varying lengths of time. We are currently covering long and short term sickness roles, PPA roles, maternity/paternity roles and general course cover.
We understand most newly qualified teachers are looking to build experience in order to gain permanent roles in the future. New Directions have over the years provided the first step for NQTs to go on to achieve great teaching careers.
“Chloe was absolutely fantastic throughout my time at New Directions. I never would have survived supply teaching if it wasn’t for Chloe. She was always checking in to make sure everything was going well with placements. She was reliable and always there to answer any queries. Chloe made me feel comfortable and confident going around the different schools. I was always offered work within a reliable amount of time which was convenient for both myself and the school. Chloe worked her best to send me to schools I had already been to so I could build relationships with staff and school. I was given regular feedback after Chloe had contacted the school to review the day. She supported me throughout my time with the company leading to me getting my current maternity position. If nothing comes at the end of this position I will be returning to new directions as Chloe provided such fantastic support.”
New Directions are invested in the continued professional development of our NQTs. We hold an annual seminar to help NQTs on their way to passing their induction year and regular training such as Team Teach, Assessment for Learning, First Aid and many more.
We recruit newly qualified teachers (NQTs) for short and long-term teaching vacancies.
If you are looking for a teaching job in a primary school, trying to find a vacancy as a local secondary teacher, or eager to work in special educational needs (SEN), then New Directions would like to hear from you.
