We have a great opportunity for a Nursery Practitioner to join our team to work in a Nursery based in Great Sankey. The Nursery offers it’s own lively setting with lots of creativity and has a team that is dedicated to the care of children. We are looking for individuals to provide a hands-on, fun, creative and innovative environment for children.

New Directions recruits for jobs in schools, nurseries and children centres across all areas of the UK. Your aim as a Nursery Nurse is centred on giving young children the best possible start to their life in education.

Every day you’ll be assisting in teaching language, literacy and numeracy, helping the class reach the early learning goals of the national curriculum, along with encouraging good behaviour.

Aside from working with the children, the role also involves setting up and tidying away all activities, analysing and recording each child’s progress and talking about it with their parents/carers.

To be a good Nursery/Pre-school Worker, you must have:
