Job Description

New Directions are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work in a primary school based in Caerphilly. This role would be working within a Nursery setting between the hours of 8.30am-12pm. This position has the potential to be an ongoing position throughout the school year.

This school aims to ensure that all pupils learn in a warm, caring and nurturing environment. It is important to be enthusiastic, friendly and have a passion for working with young children. When working in a Nursery environment it is essential to have great communication skills, and to bring a sense of imagination to each task. The successful candidate will be required to support the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom, setting up activities, and also have the experience and ability to work unsupervised.
