One to one Teaching Assistant, Torfaen

Job Description

As an ALN LSA you will provide support on a 1:1 basis supporting the pupil in accessing the curriculum at an appropriate level for specific needs. This role is for a person who is enthusiastic, motivate, to help them achieve their full potential, creating a positive environment for children to thrive. You will be working with children with challenging behaviour so you will to be resilient, consistent and understanding

Essential

• A minimum of 3 months child-based experience/ or a background in the care sector
• Contactable references
• A child and adult DBS – or be willing to undertake one via New Directions
• A willingness to complete mandatory training when required
• An excellent track record
• Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term
• Strong communication skills
