New Directions Education are extremely busy, and we are looking to increase our bank of Classroom Assistants, to work in various primary & secondary schools across the Carmarthenshire borough. The work available is on a full or part time basis, and you are able to manage your own diary dependent on your availability. You are also able to state areas that you are willing to travel to, and preferred age groups to work with.
Main responsibilities will include supporting teachers in general classroom settings, 1:1 support work external from the classroom, monitoring behavior and working in conjunction with classroom teacher, assisting with literacy and numeracy sessions. You will also be involved in setting up equipment, preparing materials for lessons and the recording of pupils achievements and progress.
