New Directions Education are looking to appoint an experienced and reliable school caretaker, to work on a relief basis in primary schools in Pontypridd.

Due the nature of supply work, the positions available can be long or short-term temporary, covering internal staff absences such as sickness and maternity, therefore all applicants must be flexible and willing to work in different schools in the area.

The working hours are full-time, Monday-Friday, with the requirement to work split shifts (e.g. 7am – 11am and 3pm – 6pm). There is also work available during school holidays.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the daily upkeep, maintenance and security of the ground and premises. Previous caretaker experience is desirable, experience working in a maintenance, trade, health and safety or construction with transferable skills is essential.
