New Directions Education are looking to appoint an experienced Primary School Clerk, to work on a supply basis providing support to primary schools in Cardiff.
Due to the nature of supply work, all applicants must be flexible, reliable and able to work in different schools in the area, covering long and short term internal absences such as sickness and maternity.
The positions are full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 4pm, term-time only.
Our clients are seeking professional and adaptable individuals, with previous experience working in the school office. Excellent knowledge of the School Information Management System (SIMS) is essential and experience overseeing school finances is also beneficial.

We recruit a wide variety of School Office Staff roles, including school secretaries, receptionists, administrators, and school clerks.
Duties are varied and may include the following:
School Office Staff must be well organised as well as having excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must also be able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise tasks.
Candidates will ideally have previous experience working within a school office. Working knowledge of SIMS system is advantageous.
Schools will expect all school support staff to have a good standard of education, some previous office work experience and ideally previous experience working within an educational setting.
