Exciting Opportunity for a Teacher in Foundation 2!
Are you a passionate and dedicated educator looking for a part-time teaching role at a school in Birkenhead? We are seeking a talented teacher to join a fantastic team on Mondays to Wednesdays to teach in Foundation 2 (F2) starting January 2025 until Easter 2025, with the possibility of extending till Summer 2025.
Start Date: January 2025 Days: Monday to Wednesday Location: Birkenhead
As a Foundation 2 teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of young learners, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for their growth and development.
Requirements: – Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Experience working with Foundation 2 curriculum – Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans – Strong communication and collaboration skills – Enthusiasm for early childhood education and a nurturing approach

An EYFS teacher works in day nurseries and also nursery or reception classes in infant or primary schools.

As an EYFS teacher you’ll be expected to:
Teach all areas of the Early Years Statutory Framework
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a safe and positive teaching environment
Plan and prepare activities that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;
Maintain discipline
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area;]
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly in smaller schools and day-nurseries
