New Directions Education are looking to register teachers who would be able to cover various classes within Swansea Primary Schools. Positions can start as soon as your file is compliant and we can offer you work in as many schools as you want. Successful applicants will be covering classes ranging from Nursery through to Year 6 but if you have a Key Stage preference, we will match you up as much as possible. Due to the current climate, the nature of our work is quite fast paced with cover required to cover last minute absences at times. The length of positions is also quite variable at the moment.
We welcome applicants who:
Have gained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and are registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC);
Are able to teach classes ranging from Nursery through to Year 6;
Are able to work closely with each class teacher to ensure continuity of approach;
Are able to promote the ‘Cwricwlwm Cymraeg’ throughout the school and use incidental Welsh when appropriate;
Are either Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT’s) or experienced classroom practitioners;
The schools are looking for versatile teachers who would be able to adapt to different classes when required. New Directions Education will be able to offer competitive rates of pay, free training courses to aid your Career Development and a dedicated Account Manager to work on your behalf. NQT’s would also have an NQT mentor to support them with their Induction Year.
