New Directions are looking for an enthusiastic Religious Philosophy teacher for a maternity cover in a leading Shrewsbury School. This school have a fantastic reputation for upholding excellent standards of teaching and education resulting in the school receiving ‘outstanding’ status in their last Osted Inspection. These high standards have also been recognised officially with the school being awarded Teaching School status in 2012.

Any applicants will need to hold a specialism in religious Philosophy (or an equivalent subject), be up-to-date with the latest developments in teaching the subject and have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum. It will be imperative that the successful candidate has a passion for the subject and that this enthusiasm aids them in delivering engaging and stimulating lessons accessible to all pupils. You will need to be able to continuously monitor and record pupils progress and maintain the necessary paperwork.
