New Directions Education are looking to appoint an experienced School Administrator, to work on a temporary basis in primary schools in Bridgend.
Due to the nature of supply work, all applicants must be flexible and willing to work in different schools in the area, covering long and short-term internal staff absences such as sickness and maternity.
The positions available are full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 4pm, term-time only.
Our clients are seeking hardworking and professional individuals, with excellent verbal and written communication. Previous experience working in a school office using the School Information Management System (SIMS) is essential. Experience overseeing school finances is also highly desirable. The successful candidate will be required to work independently dealing with the daily running of the busy primary school office and must be confident in the role.

We recruit a wide variety of School Office Staff roles, including school secretaries, receptionists, administrators, and school clerks.
Duties are varied and may include the following:
School Office Staff must be well organised as well as having excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must also be able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise tasks.
Candidates will ideally have previous experience working within a school office. Working knowledge of SIMS system is advantageous.
Schools will expect all school support staff to have a good standard of education, some previous office work experience and ideally previous experience working within an educational setting.
