New Directions Education are looking to appoint an experienced School Administrator, to work on a temporary supply basis in primary and secondary schools in Cardiff.
The nature of supply work will involve working in different schools in the area, covering long and short term internal staff absences such as sickness and maternity. Applicants must be available to work full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 4pm, term-time only.
The successful candidate will be organised, adaptable and professional, with excellent written and verbal communication. Our clients are seeking applicants with previous experience working in a school office, with an excellent knowledge of the School Information Management System (SIMS). Experience managing school finances is also highly desirable.
School Administrators are required to work independently, overseeing the day-to-day running of the busy school office and reception area, therefore all applicants must be confident in the role.

We recruit a wide variety of School Office Staff roles, including school secretaries, receptionists, administrators, and school clerks.
Duties are varied and may include the following:
School Office Staff must be well organised as well as having excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must also be able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise tasks.
Candidates will ideally have previous experience working within a school office. Working knowledge of SIMS system is advantageous.
Schools will expect all school support staff to have a good standard of education, some previous office work experience and ideally previous experience working within an educational setting.
