New Directions Education are looking to appoint an experienced School Administrator, to work on a supply basis providing temporary support to primary and secondary schools in Caerphilly.
Due to the nature of supply work all applicants must be flexible, reliable and willing to work in different schools in the area, covering long and short-term internal staff absences. The working hours will be full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4pm, term-time only.
Our clients are seeking hardworking and professional individuals with excellent verbal and written communication. Previous experience working in a school office and using the School Information Management System (SIMS) is essential, experience using Caerphilly systems such as OLAS is highly desirable. The successful applicant will be organised and able to work well independently, to oversee the daily running of the busy school office.

We recruit a wide variety of School Office Staff roles, including school secretaries, receptionists, administrators, and school clerks.
Duties are varied and may include the following:
School Office Staff must be well organised as well as having excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must also be able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise tasks.
Candidates will ideally have previous experience working within a school office. Working knowledge of SIMS system is advantageous.
Schools will expect all school support staff to have a good standard of education, some previous office work experience and ideally previous experience working within an educational setting.
