We are currently recruiting for a Special Education Needs primary teacher to work on a long term supply basis at a Special Education Needs school based on the Wirral.
Continuity for the pupils at this school is essential so you will need to be reliable and consistent in your role. To be a successful applicant, you must have had proven experience of working within an SEN environment and have experience of working with austism and emotional behavioural difficulties.
Group work is encouraged and activities such as arts and crafts, music and cooking are often daily parts of a school day. Day trips to various places are often enjoyed amongst pupils and staff and a happy working and learning environment is encouraged. This is a long term supply opportunity to start in September 2019 for 6 week on a full time basis. The school is accessible via a bus route, however there is a spacious car park available should you be a car driver.
The ideal applicant will also be up to date with team teach training, however we can provide this traning for applicants who dont currently hold this qualification.

To work in an Additional Learning Needs (ALN) role you will need:
Ideally experience working in an ALN environment
Recent experience in a classroom environment
An excellent track record
Good knowledge of the national curriculum
Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term.
