New Directions are looking for teachers with experience of and a passion for teaching within S.E.N.D. settings for a variety of opportunities within the Shropshire area. As a leading supplier of educational staff within the borough, New Directions assist a number of specialist settings with both their ad-hoc, day-to-day requirements and long-term supply needs.
The settings in question deal with children from 3 – 19 years old who have a wide variety of complex needs. With this in mind, the ideal candidate(s) will have experience of and a drive to work within a SEND setting, however those with more limited experience but a passion to move into this area of education will also be considered. You will be an excellent team player, be able to adapt according to the class you’re working within and be flexible to the school’s needs.
Although you will initially be required for short to medium-term, ad-hoc assignments, there is a regular need for more long-term positions. By registering with New Directions and working on supply within these settings, should long-term or permanent positions arise you are placing yourself in the strongest possible position should you wish to apply.
