We are looking to increase our bank of Science Teachers. You will be based in a secondary school providing education for pupils aged between 11-18.
We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, flexible, and committed Science Teachers, to support secondary schools.
The work available can be on long and short-term assignments, and you can manage your own diary/availability.

Have a genuine passion for teaching;
All subjects considered;
Be EWC registered;
Be able to teach Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4);

Job Specification
If you are a newly qualified teacher (NQT) or experienced science teacher, we offer roles which include delivering the curriculum in Key Stage 3 (KS3) to Key Stage 4 (KS4) with a possible work at Key Stage 5 (KS5).
As a science teacher you’ll be expected to:
Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Maintain discipline
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
