New Directions Education are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and skilled SEN Teachers to join, supporting Mainstream Resource Provisions (MRPs) across Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to work within inclusive and nurturing environments that bridge mainstream and specialist education, providing tailored support for learners with a range of additional needs.
We want to hear from teachers who:
• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience supporting children and young people with SEND in a mainstream or specialist setting
• Possess a strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices, differentiation, and SEN strategies
• Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and therapeutic approaches to support emotional regulation and engagement
• Are creative, patient, and empathetic, with a genuine passion for helping all learners reach their full potential
In this rewarding role, you will:
• Deliver high-quality, individualised teaching to meet a diverse range of learning needs
• Plan and adapt lessons to align with EHCP targets and personalised learning goals
• Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, therapists, and families to create cohesive support plans
• Track and monitor pupil progress, adjusting approaches to ensure positive outcomes
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages independence and confidence
