Teacher of Citizenship
Manchester – October 2024 start date
October 2024 – July 2025
£600-1200 per week (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

New Directions education are looking for a progressive and supportive Teacher of Citizenship to work with one of our partner Secondary schools based in Salford, Manchester. This will be a long term role starting in October, we expect the role to go permanent for the right candidate. We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic Teacher of Citizenship who can deliver inspiring lessons across KS4. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed and induction support will be available.

As a Teacher of Citizenship you’ll be expected to:

• Hold QTS
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Maintain discipline.
• Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
• Have a passion for teaching
• To deliver lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.
