Teacher of Geography
Manchester – September 2024 start date
September 2024 – December 2024
£600-1200 per week (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

New Directions education are looking for a progressive and supportive Teacher of Geography to work with one of our partner Secondary schools based in Stockport. This will be a long term role starting in September until December 2024. We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography who can deliver inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed and induction support will be available.

As a Teacher of Geography you’ll be expected to:

• Hold a PGCEand UK QTS
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Maintain discipline.
• Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
• Have a passion for teaching secondary English
• To deliver lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.
